Patents Assigned to U.S. Fence, LLC
  • Patent number: 6752438
Abstract: An adjustable gate hinge and an adjustable latch unit each provide for adjustment of a fence gate. The hinge interconnects the gate to a first post of the fence. The hinge supports the gate and permits pivoting movement of the gate relative to the first fence post. The latch unit secures the gate, to a second post of the fence, in a closed position of the gate. The hinge and the latch unit are usable together in a system. As such, the system has the feature that at least one of the hinge and the gate unit has an arrangement to permit adjustment of the gate relative to the fence in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the fence. The arrangement includes two components that are relatively movable along the direction perpendicular to a plane of the fence and that are secured to each other subsequent to the movement along the direction perpendicular to the plane of the fence.

  • Patent number: 6478287
Abstract: A fence panel is constructed from extruded hollow polyvinyl plastic boards. The boards are arranged with vertical end boards and filler boards between the end boards. Three horizontal rails each have a board on each side of the vertical boards with a horizontal filler board between the top rail boards to seal off the upper ends of the vertical boards. All of the boards are secured together with a plastic adhesive without the use of any mechanical fasteners.

  • Patent number: 6398193
Abstract: A fence unit extending between vertical posts in formed using extruded plastic top, middle and bottom rails resting on hangers attached to the posts. Each of the rails as parallel side walls as well as top and bottom walls and a pair of internal wall portions extending between the side wall portions. A reinforced member in the form of a channel extends through each of the rails between the internal wall portions. The bottom rail has the top all cut away to form a groove while the top rail has the bottom wall cut away to form a groove and the middle rail has both the top and bottom rails cut away in a similar manner. The assembly then includes boards or panels adapted to fit between the top and middle rails and the middle bottom rails and extending into the grooves to abut the adjacent internal wall portions and screw fasteners extend into the rail portions to hold the assembly together as a unit.

  • Patent number: 6290214
Abstract: A post and rail assembly uses a channel shaped bracket to secure the rails to the post. The bracket has a channel bottom portion which is attached directly by fasteners to a flattened portion on the post and two rail ends abut each other and are received within the channel. The channel has extensions along the back vertical surface of the rails with fasteners extending through these extensions horizontally into the rail and other fasteners extend from the top and bottom flanges of the channel vertically into the rail ends which cover the fasteners holding the bracket to the post.
