Abstract: Techniques for scaling font size of a page in a mobile terminal, such as a method including: parsing a page of a web page acquired from a content server, and acquiring the block width and the size of a style font of each underlying block node contained in a render tree of the parsed web page; based on the acquired block width of each underlying block node and the width of a screen of the mobile terminal, determining a font scaling coefficient of each underlying block node; and based on the determined font scaling coefficient of each underlying block node and the size of the style font, scaling the style font of each underlying block node. Advantageously, an enlarged window can completely display a content block and a font can be displayed clearly, without a need to slide the screen to the left or right side.

Abstract: Techniques for performing marking and reminding on contents in a web page are disclosed. A browser client of a mobile terminal presets reminder content and a display style and stores the same in the mobile terminal. The method comprises: acquiring a source code of a web page; looking up the source code to obtain content to be reminded semantically associated with the preset reminder content; and marking and displaying the content to be reminded using the preset display style in the web page. The present invention marks content which concerns a user before a web page is displayed to the user after loading has finished, and marks and displays new content in a designated format using a special preset style, so that the new content is more conspicuous in a page.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and systems for previewing a web page. The methods include: sending a web page previewing request to a middleware server in accordance with a web page previewing triggering instruction; loading, by the middleware server, a main document of a web page link requested to be previewed in accordance with the web page previewing request, and typesetting the main document; and partially capturing the typeset main document and uniformly scaling the captured typeset main document in accordance with a screen size of a mobile terminal to generate a preview image for the mobile terminal to display. With the present disclosure, a web page can be rapidly previewed, thereby reducing the waiting time of a user.

Abstract: A method and system for adjusting webpage layout are disclosed. The method includes calculating a width for displaying an image on a webpage; determining whether the image is inserted in a segment of text of the webpage; and adjusting the size of the image display based on a mobile terminal's screen width and the width for displaying the image, if the image is inserted in the segment of text of the webpage. The disclosed methods and systems adjust the images on a webpage based on the width of the image and the screen width of a mobile terminal. As such, an adjusted webpage can be viewed by scrolling up and down the display screen. In addition, a user's online experience may be further improved by adjusting the images on the webpage to be left justified and aligned with the text on the page. A user does not need to scroll horizontally (e.g., from left to right) to read the webpage including the images.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method, apparatus and mobile terminal for controlling an application interface by means of a gesture. In an exemplary method, a terminal browser can obtain a preset gesture that is inputted into a screen for generating a control point. The control point can be generated according to the preset gesture inputted into the screen. The control point can be associated with one or more preset areas on the screen. The terminal browser can obtain an operation gesture inputted into the screen targeted for the control point and, according to the operation gesture, generate an application interface corresponding to a preset area that the control point is located at. The present disclosure can break through conventional interface operation modes, realizing application interface control via gestures without occupying visible screen space, and adding more freedom for the layout of the application interface on a mobile device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a webpage display method, device, browser and user terminal. The method comprises: after a zooming operation performed by the user on a webpage currently being browsed, recording a mapping relationship between a webpage identifier of the webpage and a zoom ratio of the zooming operation; upon detecting that a webpage requested by the user for browsing matches the webpage identifier, retrieving the recorded zoom ratio corresponding to the webpage identifier; and zooming a size of the webpage requested by the user and displaying the webpage. The technical solution achieves the objective of automatically zooming the webpage to a size suitable for the user's browsing, avoiding the extra zooming operation by the user and improving the user experience of webpage browsing.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a page display method and device. The method comprises: in response to a click operation on a browser by a user, updating, by the browser, a current page display rule according to parameters downloaded from a server corresponding to the browser, and classifying and parsing the updated display rule; receiving, by the browser, a text from a target page, wherein the text contains a tag string used for displaying the target page; when the browser parses a predetermined tag string in the tag strings, invoking, by the browser, the classified and parsed page display rule corresponding to the predetermined tag string to display the page. The technical solution according to the present invention accelerates the display speed of a target page, thus saving network traffic and improving the user experience.

Abstract: The present invention provides a character segmenting method for web page pictures comprising: scanning row by to a web page picture and demarcating in units of rows the picture into alternating first blank regions and first content regions; segmenting the demarcated first content regions from the web page picture; scanning column by column each of the segmented first content regions, and demarcating in units of columns each of the first content regions into alternating second blank regions and second content regions; and segmenting the second content regions and the second blank regions according to the pixel coordinates of the second blank regions so as to take the segmented second content regions as individual characters in the first content regions determined as fiction pictures. By applying the method, a web page picture can be segmented into individual characters, and the individual characters can be rearranged to the screen size of a mobile terminal for appropriate display on the screen thereof.
