Abstract: A mobile client is a motor vehicle or a trailer adapted for the automated production of forms, shapes, or patterns. The mobile client has a mobile client computer system and a production component such as a plotter. A library of patterns, with predetermined dimensions customized to particular vehicle models, is kept in a database. The patterns are produced by sending pattern production commands from the mobile client computer system to the production component, on site, and the patterns are applied to a customer vehicle.
Abstract: A mobile client for the automated production of forms, shapes, or patterns communicates with a library server. The patterns have predetermined dimensions and may be applied to surfaces of vehicles for the protection of the surfaces. A business method involving the mobile client and the library server includes single-use transactions.
