Abstract: A disposable diaper that includes a base sheet and an absorbent panel placed onto the base sheet and provided with pleats defined by folding the base sheet together with the panel in a transverse direction across a crotch regions front zone adjacent to a front waist region and a crotch region's rear zone adjacent to a rear waist region, respectively. Transversely opposite end regions of the respective pleats are joined to side flaps, respectively.

Abstract: A disposable pull-on diaper that includes a pair of tape fasteners which are adapted to hold the diaper in a rolled-up state. The tape fasteners are provided at transversely opposite side edges of a rear waist region so as to extend along the side edges in a longitudinal direction. Each of the tape fasteners has an upper end portion lying adjacent a waist-opening and a lower end portion lying adjacent an associated leg-opening. The upper end portions of the tape fasteners are bonded to the diaper by bonding zones which extend obliquely inward in a waist-surrounding direction from the transversely opposite side edges of the rear waist region toward the lower end portions.

Abstract: Here is disclosed a pull-on disposable wearing article formed by connecting front and rear waist regions to each other wherein an auxiliary sheet having a given area and placed upon outer surface of a backsheet extends from a crotch region into the front waist region and comprises a free end zone lying in the front waist region and circumferentially extending and fixed side edge zones longitudinally extending along the transversely opposite side edges in the front waist region as well as in the crotch region and fixed to the outer surface of the backsheet.

Abstract: A disposable pull-on diaper includes a topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core disposed therebetween. In any one of front and rear waist regions of the diaper, second elastic members are disposed between the core and the backsheet to extend under tension circumferentially of the waist region and secured to the inner surface of the backsheet only at their portions extending outward beyond transversely opposite side edges.

Abstract: A sanitary napkin has an absorbent core convexly curved upward and the absorbent core is provided on its lower side with a pad adapted to hold a curved shape of the absorbent core. The pad is formed on its upper side with a plurality of projections and continuous troughs so that the projections are bonded to the lower side of the absorbent core and the troughs form a continuous tunnel between the absorbent core and the pad. The pad thus formed improves a breathability of the sanitary napkin during its use.

Abstract: A stick absorber for the oral cavity comprising a bundle of fibers, the periphery of said bundle of fibers being wrapped with a water-permeable tape, and said tape being adhered at its joint with a binder. The stick absorber has high water absorbability and spacing effects, and does not release its constituent fibers into the oral cavity.
