Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the mass production of an entomophagous insect such as Trichogramma maidis insect from a substitution host such as the egg of the meal moth Ephestia kuehniella, as well as a device for implementation of this method and the application of the method to the biological fight against maize crop ravagers.
