Abstract: A top sizer clip according to one embodiment for use with a garment hanger includes a body having a pair of side walls and end walls joined to and extending between the side walls. The body includes a top wall that is joined to upper edges of the side walls and end walls. The top wall partially encloses the body so as to create a hollow body structure that includes an interior compartment defined by the end walls, side walls, and top wall. The top wall includes an opening formed therethrough for receiving a hook member of the hanger. The opening is defined by a pair of opposing first edges and a pair of opposing second side edges that extend between the first edges. The clip also includes a pair of slots being formed along the first edges and extending toward the end walls. The second edges include a pair of interference sections (detents) where a distance between the second edges is at a minimum.

Abstract: A garment hanger for use with a top sizer clip that has locking tabs formed along an interior thereof includes a body having a hook member including a web portion and a platform extending at least partially around the web portion. The web portion has a first surface, an opposing second surface, and a pair of locking apertures for receiving the locking tabs to securely attach the top sizer clip to hanger. The web portion has at least one beveled cam surface that includes a first edge that defines an entrance into an adjacent locking aperture and an opposite second edge that interfaces with the first surface for allowing the top sizer clip to be moved to an unlocking position.

Abstract: A garment hanger, according to one exemplary embodiment, includes a cross-bar having first and second ends and a hook member coupled to the cross-bar to permit hanging of the garment hanger. A first clamp assembly is disposed at the first end of the cross bar and a second clamp assembly is disposed at the second end of the cross-bar. Each of the first and second clamp assemblies includes first and second clamp members that are pivotably coupled to one another and urged toward one another by a biasing element; with each of the first and second clamp members having an inner clamp surface that has a pair of locking posts extending outwardly from the inner clamp surface.

Abstract: According to one exemplary embodiment, an information clip is provided and it not only resiliently engages a securing ridge adjacent a free edge of the clip holder, but in addition, is provided with a platform on which leading edges of the clip sit on when the clip is securely attached to the clip holder. The platform is part of a stepped construction formed as part of the clip holder and the platform has a rear edge that acts to inhibit access to the leading edges of the clip when the clip is securely attached to the clip holder. In one embodiment, an upper surface of the platform includes surface modifying features that are formed therein to assist in locating and retaining the leading clip edges along the upper surface of the platform.

Abstract: A garment hanger is provided and includes an elongated body, an integrally formed, centrally located hook member, and clip assemblies located at each opposing end of the body. Each clip assembly includes a horizontal lower clip, a horizontal upper clip and a vertical end clip. Each vertical clip includes a downwardly directed anchor arm which is spaced a predetermined distance from an inner surface of the end of the hanger and defines a receiving slot therebetween, into which clothing may be selectively inserted. The inner surface of the receiving slot includes an integrally formed upwardly and outwardly directly spring arm which is spring biased against an inside contact surface of the rigid anchor arm. It is the resiliency of this spring arm that creates a clamping action within the receiving slot which is used to force any inserted clothing snugly against the anchor arm, thereby holding the clothing in place within the receiving slot.
