Abstract: An ophthalmoscopic system having in combination, a intraocular illumination light source, a multitude of light transfer fibre optics regularly arranged in vertical and horizontal rows to project the illuminant light ray from said light source into an eye in the form of a multitude of discrete illuminant light points, a multitude of light-receiving fibre optics regularly arranged in vertical and horizontal rows alternately with said rows of the light transfer fibre optics to receive the reflections of the projected light points, an image receiver connected to said light-receiving fibre optics for converting a transmitted optical picture image into electric signals, and an output device electrically connected to the output terminal of said image receiver.
