Abstract: A structure of an apparatus for sharing video input/output modules among handheld devices is provided, including a sharing slot, with a top golden finger part and a bus cable to form a first signal path from the video input module of a handheld device, and a bottom golden finger part and a bus cable and a connector to from a second signal path to a video input processor of the handheld device. The present invention may further include a bypass element for shorting the two signal paths by connecting the top golden finger part and the bottom golden finger part of the sharing slot. With the present invention, a second handheld device having extending signal paths can be inserted into the sharing slot of the first handheld to use the video input/output module of the first handheld device to accomplish the sharing of video input/output modules among handheld devices.

Abstract: The present invention provides a single-chip but multi-output graphic system which provides identical or different graphic images on two display screens. The graphic system comprises at least a multimedia database, a first input process router, a second input process router, a first graphic processing unit and a second graphic processing unit. The first input process router selects the backdrop graphics and the moving object graphics (which are both provided by the multimedia database), feeds them into the first graphic processing unit and then outputs the processed graphics onto either the first display unit or the second display unit. Similarly, the second graphic processing units processes the backdrop graphics and the moving object graphics selected by the second input process router and then outputs the process graphics onto either the first display unit or the second display unit.

Abstract: A single memory bus multi-media computer system is provided, including a CPU/Sound/Graphic unit, a bus arbitrator, a program and sound and graphic memory for communicating with the CPU/Sound/Graphic unit and the bus arbitrator. Only a single memory bus is required as communication is through the bus arbitrator. The addition of the bus-arbitrator can relieve the CPU/Sound/Graphic unit from performing bus synchronization and waiting for the slow memory to catch up.
