Abstract: An assembly of a pot for plants and an associated support wherein the pot defines a bottom wall and a surrounding side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall. The support defines a horizontal surface upon which the bottom wall of the pot is positioned. Pin means extend upwardly from this horizontal surface, and at least one opening is defined by the bottom wall of the pot for receiving the pin means. This arrangement secures the pot on the support surface against the influence of wind, jostling, or other dislodging forces.
Abstract: An assembly of a divider and stakes installed to define the limits of a flower bed or the like relative to adjoining ground wherein the height of the flower bed surface is greater than that of the adjoining ground. The divider comprises an extruded length of plastic including an enlarged upper section and a flange formed integrally with the upper section and extending along the length of said upper section and downwardly from said upper section to a bottom edge. A plurality of flaps are formed integrally with the bottom edge and extend laterally outwardly from the bottom edge. At least one slot is formed in at least some of said flaps, the slots being adapted for receipt of stakes whereby the enlarged upper section is positioned at the height of said bed, with the stakes penetrating the adjoining ground and securing the flaps in overlying relationship with the adjoining ground.
Abstract: A fountain construction dispenses water in a pond or the like for aesthetic purposes. A feed line is located beneath the water surface, and a vertically extending feed pipe delivers water from the feed line to a dispensing nozzle at the upper end of the feed pipe. A pump having a connection with the feed line delivers the water under pressure. The feed line and associated feed pipe are shaped so that a lamp supporting bracket can be located at the juncture thereof. A lamp supported on the bracket emits a light beam axially relative to the feed pipe and nozzle whereby a particularly pleasing aesthetic effect is realized with minimum detraction from the beauty of the pond or the like resulting from the presence of the hardware in the pond.
