Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for delivering vaporized chemicals into the atmosphere. In one embodiment the device comprises a light bulb with a glass casing and a region of sintered glass. Alternative embodiments are disclosed in which the device comprises a retainer adapted to retain chemical carrying elements and fixing means adapted to secure the retainer to a heat source. The chemical carrying element is sintered glass. The sintered glass preferably has a homogenous particle distribution and may be nanoporous.
