Abstract: The present invention relates to a frame profile of an outer frame and/or leaf frame of a window or of a door, with a core profile of plastic, wherein a casing shell is arranged on at least one of the oppositely situated outer walls of the core profile, wherein at least one of the outer walls has at least one fastening groove which extends in the longitudinal direction of the core profile, wherein the casing shell is fastened to and/or in the fastening groove and covers the fastening groove. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a frame profile.
Abstract: A thermoplastic board (20) comprising at least one smooth side edge (21) is produced by means of extrusion. The side edge of a synthetic web is heated at least to its melting temperature following calibration while the peripheral surface zones are kept at a temperature below the softening temperature by cooling. A smoothing device (10?) for a side edge of the thermoplastic board encompasses a guiding groove (14?) that is provided with at least one heating means (15?), located within the face (11?), and at least one respective cooling means (16?, 17?) located within the side surfaces (12?, 13?) that face each other. A cutting edge (21, 24) of a synthetic board (20) that can be guided inside the guiding groove (14?) rests against the face (11?) while the peripheral surface zones (22, 23) thereof lean against the side surfaces (12?, 13?).
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooled calibrating device for a plastic extrusion facility, comprising a housing (5) receiving a cooling liquid (2) and calibrating guides (6) through which a plastic profile (1) is passed, in addition to inlet and outlet holes (10, 23) having attached lines for the cooling liquid, wherein an area (21) free of liquid and filled with air remains above the level of the cooling liquid. An outlet hole (10) for the cooling liquid is arranged at the height of the cooling liquid level (20) in the calibrating device so that the cooling liquid can flow out without an additional pump. An outlet line (11) attached to the outlet hole extends vertically and ends in a cooling liquid reservoir (12) that is subjected to an external atmosphere, wherein a compact liquid column (24) is formed in the outlet line (11).
Abstract: In order to achieve an economical and trouble-free continuous extrusion of plastic hollow profiles having at least one hollow chamber that is filled with foam, the profile tool of an extrusion device is configured in the shape of a pistol. The profile tool comprises a pistol shaft (102) with a melt feed channel (166), connected to the melt discharge opening of the extruder (300) and which opens into a melt radial distributor channel (164) that surrounds the lance guide channel (150). The profile tool is also equipped with a pistol barrel (101) comprising a melt ring channel (162), which extends from the melt radial distributor channel (164) to the profile nozzle (160) and comprising a lance guide channel (150), which extends in a continuous manner from a lance inlet (152) to the profile nozzle (160).
