  • Patent number: 9264650
Abstract: A video system comprises a camera, an enclosure, and an interface system integrated with the enclosure. The interface is configured to receive, on a link external to the enclosure, video captured by the camera and transfer the video on a link internal to the enclosure. The video system further includes a conversion module and a processing system. The conversion module is configured to receive the video on the internal link and transfer the video for delivery to the processing system on another internal link which has a different characteristic impedance than the first internal link. The processing system is configured to receive the video on the other internal link and encode the video. The video system further includes a monitoring system which is configured to display and store the video.

  • Patent number: 8942543
Abstract: Methods, systems, and software are provided herein that allow for storing a data file in a storage device. The storage system splits a video data file into a plurality of data segments, generates a plurality of recovery headers for the data segments, and combines ones of the recovery headers with ones of the data segments to form a plurality of storage packets.

  • Publication number: 20150006263
Abstract: A method of monitoring customer service interactions includes the acquisition of video data. The video data is analyzed to track a location of a customer and to track a location of an agent. An interaction between the customer and the agent is identified based upon an intersection of the respective tracked locations of the customer and the agent and a dwell time of the customer and agent at the intersection.

  • Publication number: 20150006213
Abstract: A method of workforce optimization includes acquiring video data. The video data is obtained from a plurality of video cameras in a facility comprising a plurality of departments. A customer load for each of the plurality of departments is identified. A location of each of a plurality of employees in the facility is identified. A customer-to-employee ratio is determined for each department. The determined customer-to-employee ratio for each department is provided to a computing device. At least one employee deployment notification is provided from the computing device to another computing device.

  • Publication number: 20140344882
Abstract: Systems and method of video quality adaptation include acquiring video data to be streamed. An available bandwidth on a communications network is determined. A determined playback speed is determined based upon a bitrate of the video data to be streamed and the available bandwidth on the communications network. The video data is decoded to produce decoded video data which is encoded at the determined playback speed to produce encoded video data. The encoded video data is streamed across the communications network.

  • Publication number: 20140340533
Abstract: Systems and apparatus for sensing and video capture include at least one camera with an optical sensor that captures video image data of a first sampling rate. An auxiliary sensor captures auxiliary data at a second sample rate. A processor is communicatively connected to the optical sensor and auxiliary sensor. The processor transmits video image data captured at the first sample rate auxiliary sensor data captured at the second sampling rate across a data connection to a centralized computer that receives the video image data and the auxiliary sensor data and operate to present the video image data and the auxiliary sensor data on a graphical display.

  • Patent number: 8446944
Abstract: A data processing device is provided. The data processing device includes a first port configured to receive data from a first bus, and a direct memory access (DMA) engine coupled to the first port. The DMA engine is configured to receive the data from the first bus, receive a contiguous scatter-gather list from a processing device via a second port, configure the data according to the contiguous scatter-gather list, and provide the configured data to the processing device through the second port. The second port is configured to write the configured data to the processing device over a second bus.
