  • Publication number: 20240187958
Abstract: In some implementations, a network device may obtain a message that includes service parameter data associated with an application. The service parameter data may indicate a revalidation time. The network device may generate, based on the service parameter data, a user equipment route selection policy (URSP) rule associated with the application that includes the revalidation time indicated by the service parameter data. The URSP rule may expire at the revalidation time. The network device may transmit the URSP rule for a user equipment (UE) that executes the application. The network device may receive a state indication message associated with the UE that is triggered at the revalidation time.

  • Patent number: 12004079
Abstract: A power and environmental orchestration (P&EO) system uses network utilization condition information to implement scenarios that partially or fully reduce power requirements for radio access network (RAN) elements. A network device obtains power orchestration scenarios for a RAN and evaluates utilization data of multiple components of the RAN against the power orchestration scenarios. The network device determines that the utilization data meets a threshold for one of the power orchestration scenarios and applies the one of the power orchestration scenarios to reconfigure the RAN for reduced power consumption.

Abstract: A device associated with a network may receive a service profile for a network slice of the network, where the service profile includes one or more service characterizations of the network slice. The device may determine, based on thresholding rules and for each service characterization, whether the service characterization requires selection from a plurality of building blocks, to obtain a group of service characterizations requiring selection. The device may select, based on selection rules and for each service characterization of the group of service characterizations requiring selection, a building block from the plurality of building blocks, to obtain selected building blocks, where the selection rules map attributes of service characterizations to building blocks. The device may stack, based on stacking rules, the selected building blocks, to obtain a slice infrastructure for the network slice. • Patent number: 12003607
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for compressing sets of files using a packet-based conversion algorithm. The algorithm may compress and decompress files using a packet-based approach, whereby packet-sized sections of file data are compressed and arranged in a specified order such that the sections may be retrieved, decompressed, and reassembled to restore the original files as needed. The packet-based approach may allow for the size of a file set to be dramatically reduced, while the resulting compressed data may not be easily accessed by unauthorized entities. Compression and decompression may utilize a pointer associated with each file in the set of files. The pointer may be generated based on data associated with a file, such as file name, size, and/or other attributes or metadata. The compressed packets may be arranged relative to the pointer within a compressed file such that the packets may be identified and decompressed.

  • Patent number: 11997702
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for maintaining and implementing a dynamic uplink grant policy for a User Equipment (“UE”) connected to a base station of a radio access network (“RAN”) of a wireless telecommunications network. The dynamic uplink grant policy may be based on historical utilization of radio frequency (“RF”) resources granted to the UE, which may be based on a historical amount of padding (e.g., versus user plane data) included in uplink transmissions from the UE to one or more base stations associated with the wireless telecommunications network. The dynamic uplink grant policy may indicate an amount by which resource grants for a UE should be reduced, compared to an amount of resources requested by the UE.
