    Abstract: A walking assistance device for use in indoor areas as well as in outdoor areas includes a frame with a pair of spaced apart sides and a pair of front wheels mounted to the frame in a manner that allows each of the front wheels to rotate about a vertical axis. A seat support is mounted between the spaced apart sides and at least one rear wheel attached to the frame in a manner that allows the rotation of the rear wheel or wheels about a vertical axis. A straddleable seat is mounted on the seat support on the frame.
