Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and a method for language independent automatic license plate localization by analysis of plurality of images in real-time under day-light condition without using any external light. In one embodiment, the system can work without any spatiality constraints and/or demographic considerations without any restriction on jurisdiction and can effectively localize license plates (LPs) of any type consisting of alpha-numeric characters and symbols. In other embodiment, methods for search-space reduction system based on motion-based filtration and LPs localization based on edge-active-region filtration with high frame-per-second (FPS) throughput are described. In another embodiment, a dual-binarization scheme is described for color invariant LP localization.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for automated vehicles license plates characters segmentation and recognition comprising an imaging processor connected to at least one image grabber module or camera. The image grabber module captures images of the vehicles and forwards it to said connected imaging processor and the imaging processor segments and recognizes the vehicles license plates character region including the region with deformed license plates characters in the captured vehicle images by involving binarization of maximally stable external regions corresponding to probable license plate region in the captured vehicle images.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for selection of candidate video frames from traffic video comprising an imaging processor operatively connected to traffic video source. The imaging processor receives the traffic video from said source for selection of candidate video frames from the received traffic video for analysis of entire traffic video stream to extract vehicles details from therefrom including detection of situations of moving vehicles and non-moving vehicles. The traffic video is forwarded to the imaging processor from the source at an appropriate rate suitable for said candidate frames selection computation.

Abstract: An integrated intelligent server based system includes at least one autonomous system containing one or more analytical server for unified multiple sensory data mapped multi-modal or multi-sensory imagery analysis, generating analysis result and streaming of the sensory data with the generated analysis result to the receiver module. A fail safe and fault tolerant technique to generate, store and stream the multi-sensory images to the receiver module is also proposed. Once received, the receiver module extracts the sensory data and the results of the sensory data analysis from the image and video using a suitable decoder. The integrated intelligent server based system would enable embedding the results of the sensory data analysis within the image itself and streaming the multi-sensory image embedded with the results of said sensory data analysis to a receiver module. This results in adopting this new concept in Internet of Things scheme of activities as well.
