A system and method for dynamically adjusting an online marketing campaign, in various embodiments, is configured to increase and/or decrease one or more keyword bids that make up part of an online marketing campaign for a particular product from a particular retailer based on whether: (1) the particular product is or is not competitively priced relative to one or more competing retailers; and/or (2) an advertisement for the particular product from the particular retailer on a search engine results page or in an online marketplace is in a relatively desirable position.

Abstract: Price mining and product re-pricing data processing systems and methods are disclosed. A computer system is configured for displaying (e.g., on an electronic display associated with a particular product in a brick-and-mortar store) a first price for the particular product. The system monitors one or more competitor websites for competing prices, adjusts the first price to a second price if the competitor's pricing for the particular product differs from the first price and updates the first price to the second price on the electronic display. In various embodiments, adjusting the first price to the second price occurs substantially automatically. In some embodiments, the system tracks price change trends of competitors for one or more products and determines a predicted price change prior to an actual competitor price change. In some embodiments, the system changes one of the first price or the second price to the predicted price prior to an actual price change by the competitor.

Abstract: A price-mining prevention system, in various embodiments, is configured for: (A) detecting an access to a particular web page containing pricing information; (B) determining whether a source of the access is an individual employed by one or more competitors of a company that owns the particular web page being accessed; and (C) at least partially in response to determining that the individual is employed by one or more competitors of a company that owns the particular web page being assessed, taking one or more defensive actions against the source of the access. The step of determining whether the individual is employed by a competitor of the company may comprise scanning a post made on one or more public message boards to determine, based on the content of the post, whether the message board poster is employed by a competitor of a company that owns the particular web page.

Abstract: A wearable utterance training system includes a wearable utterance training device. The system may, for example: (1) receive one or more target utterances from the user; (2) detect a use of one of the one or more target utterances by the user; and (3) in response, provide one or more responsive effects. The one or more responsive effects may include, for example: (1) providing one or more shocks to the user using the wearable utterance training device; (2) initiating a transfer of money between an account associated with the user and a third party account; (3) creating a public disclosure of the utterance (e.g., by posting the disclosure on one or more social media websites) and/or (4) playing a recording of the user's use of the target utterance or other sound.

Abstract: A price-mining prevention system, in various embodiments, is configured for: (A) detecting an access request for a particular web page; (B) at least partially in response to detecting the access request, determining, based at least in part on the access request, a source of the request; (C) determining, based at least in part on the source, whether the source is an unwanted source; and (D) at least partially in response to determining that the source is an unwanted source, taking one or more defensive actions against the source. The one or more defensive actions may include, for example: (1) requiring the source of the access to complete one or more CAPTCHAs; (2) blocking access to the particular web page from the source; and/or (3) providing access to a modified version of the particular webpage to the source.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for retrieving, from various online retail websites, product listings and associated pricing information for particular product. The system may be configured to receive a request, from a user, to view pricing information for a particular product from one or more websites hosted by the user's competitors. The request may include one or more matching criteria for identifying the one or more matching product listings. In various embodiments, the system is configured to: (1) determine one or more potentially matching product listings based at least in part on the matching criteria; (2) enable the user to confirm that the one or more potentially matching product listings are one or more matching product listings; (3) determine pricing information for the one or more matching product listings; and (4) display the pricing information to the user.
