Abstract: The present invention refers to compounds of the general formula (I), to their possible pharmaceutically acceptable salts and tautomeric forms. The present invention also refers to a process for their production and to their use as antidiabetic and *hypoglycemic agents, alone or in combination with other antidiabetic agents, such as sulfonilureas or biguanides, as well as for the treatment of complications associated to the resistance to the insulin, such as hypertension, hyperuricemia or other cardiovascular, metabolic, endocrine conditions, or other conditions related with diabetes.

Abstract: New esters derived from (RR, SS)-3-(2-dimethylaminomethyl-1-hydroxycyclohexyl)phenyl 2-hydroxybenzoate, analog to Tramadol, a process for obtaining them and the use of these compounds for the production of a medicament with analgesic properties. These new products of general formula (I) exhibit an analgesic activity higher than that of tramadol.

Abstract: New esters derived from substituted phenyl-cyclohexyl compounds, which are derived from Tramadol, process for obtaining them and their use for preparing a drug with analgesic properties. These new compounds of general formula (I) have a higher analgesic activity, a lower toxicity and a longer effective time period than Tramadol.

Abstract: The agent is the compound 3-{2-[4-(6-fluoro-benzo[d]isoxazol-3-yl)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyridin-1-yl]-ethy l}-2-methyl-6,7,8,9-tetrahydropyrido [1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one having the formula (I) ##STR1## and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; the process is based on the reduction of a selected pyridin salt by means of a metal borohydride; its preferred application is as an antipsychotic agent.

Abstract: Amidines derived from 3-aminoethyl indoles of formula (I) ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is an atom of hydrogen or a lower alkyl or alkenyl group: R.sub.2 is an atom of hydrogen or a lower alkyl or alkenyl , aryl, arylalkyl or cycloalkyl group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be the same or different and are an atom of hydrogen or a lower straight or branched chain alkyl group; and R.sub.5 is an atom of hydrogen; a straight or branched chain alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl group, which may be substituted with an hydroxy group, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, trifluoromethyl, halogen, carbonyl, cyano; a cyano group, phenyl, aryl, cycloalkyl, heterocycle or arylalkyl, optionally substituted with a hydroxy, alkoxy, halogen, amino, alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, trifluoromethyl, carbonyl, cyano, nitro, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, or may form an optionally substituted heterocycle with R.sub.4 and with the nitrogen atom; and the physiologically acceptable salts thereof.
