Abstract: The invention relates to a mechanism (2) designed for a chair, in particular for a rotatable office chair having a gas spring (12) vertically arranged in the underframe (1), the gas spring having a telescopically extendible piston rod so that the height of the seat (9) can be adjusted. The tilting adjustment of the seat (9) between the rest position (S0) and the relaxation position (Smax) occurs in synchronization with the adjustment of the backrest (96) between a rest position (R0) and a relaxation position (Rmax) inclined backward. The mechanism (2) has a shell (30), through which a stationary first rotational axis (D1) extends and on which a seat carrier (80) capable of being inclined is mounted.

Abstract: The backrest which is designed for a seat can be adjusted to form a precurved deformation. The backrest has a rest support (40) having a link chain (41) comprising a large number of links (410,411) which are interconnected such that they can move in relation to each other. A flexible actuating element (47) with a fixed length extends from an upper fixing point (415), which is provided on one of the links (410,411) in the upper region of the rest support (40), along the rest support (40) to a lower fixing point. Each link (410,411) has a driver (412) which engages in the link (411) arranged beneath it. The flexible actuating element (47) is embedded in a guide (46) which is provided on the rest support (40) and which extends from close to the upper fixing point (415) to an intermediate space which is situated in front of the lower fixing point.

Abstract: A table is provided which has variable dimensions, especially a long length, and is mainly used in offices and conferences. The base of the table is supported by feet (6) and carries table leaves (1,1) which are brought together at the longitudinal sides thereof, and an insert (8,81) which can be inserted in-between the leaves, can have different configurations and can be used as a support for various structures. The base of the table includes at least two transversal supports (2) provided with a central sunken channel region (20) from which two extension arms (21) respectively extended in opposite directions, the feet (6) being mounted on the arms, and lateral struts (4) supporting the table leaves (1,1) being arranged on the outside.
