Abstract: An adjustable burner kit for a grill includes an adjustable burner having a burner end telescopically received on a burner inlet. The adjustable burner defines a passageway for receiving gas. The burner inlet has a proximal end for receiving a gas valve. The burner end has a proximal end adjacent to the distal end of the burner inlet. The burner end defines a mounting member on its distal end. The mounting member includes a flat section that defines a cutout for receiving a mounting screw. An optional mount piece may be provided for engaging the mounting member to provide an alternatively oriented mounting interface. The adjustable burner has an adjustable length.

Abstract: Provided is a folding apparatus for roasting poultry using a metallic liquid-storage container. The apparatus includes a base to provide lateral stability when placed on a cooking surface, hinge mounts attached to the base, hinges attached to the hinge mounts and vertical supports pivotally attached to the plurality of hinges. Also provided are methods for providing a folding device for roasting poultry using a metallic liquid-storage container. The methods include the steps of forming a base, attaching a hinge mount to the base, attaching a hinge to the hinge mount, and pivotally securing a vertical support to the hinge.

Abstract: A combination grill care tool for cleaning a barbecue grill cooking surface includes a tool head having an upper surface and a lower surface. A handle having a proximal end and a distal end extends from the tool head such that the distal end opposes the tool head. A push-pull scraper disposed on the upper surface of the tool head extends from the tool head. The push-pull scraper has a first blade and a second blade. The first blade and the second blade are adapted to engage and break loose residue on the barbecue grill cooking surface. A method of use is also provided.

Abstract: A portable gas cooking grill apparatus comprising a grill having a hood and a firebox. It is preferable that the hood can be received by and seated upon the firebox, thereby enclosing the grill. A burner assembly, capable of heating the interior portion of the grill, is preferably disposed underneath a substantially solid cooking surface and within the grill, thereby fully enclosing the burner assembly. The grill is supported by a frame, arranged and configured to substantially correspond to the firebox and releasably receive the grill thereon. The frame includes a leg assembly extending therefrom. The leg assembly is fixed to the frame such that the leg assembly is movable between a retracted position and an extended position.

The assembly is inclusive of handle and at least one source of illumination for illuminating a cooking surface inside a hollow cooking chamber of the barbecue grill. The handle may function both as a means for opening a lid to access the cooking surface and also as a compartment for retaining the energy used to power the source of illumination. The lid includes at least one channel for the appropriate wiring to extend from the energy compartment to the illumination source. Accordingly, the handle may be located on the outside of the grill lid, and the source of illumination may be located inside the hollow cooking chamber.

Abstract: The present invention is a pocketed cover to be used on an outdoor cooking appliance. This cover may be utilized for a barbecue grill and can be designed to appropriately fit a particular type of grill. This item may be designed for use on other outdoor equipment that also needs protection from the elements. Some examples of such equipment are smokers, lawn tools, and furniture such as chairs, umbrellas, and tables. The pocket of this cover increases the functionality of the cover, allowing for storage of items such as grill utensils. In some embodiments, the pocket can be used to store the cover itself when it is not in use. In some embodiments, the pocket is located on a front panel of the cover.

Abstract: Combination cooking grills and thermal chests are provided. One such combination includes a thermal chest that defines an interior and which includes an opening communicating with and providing access to the interior. The combination also includes a grill that defines a cooking interior and which incorporates a grilling surface mounted within the cooking interior. A repositioning assembly is mounted to the thermal chest. The grill is movable, via the repositioning assembly, between a lowered position in which the grill limits access to the interior of the thermal chest via the opening, and a raised position in which the grill is spaced from the thermal chest such that access to the interior of the thermal chest is provided via the opening.

Abstract: A barbecue grill is disclosed that includes a main grill body including a cooking chamber, the frame, and an improved shelf. The improved shelf includes a substantially planar portion and either a pair of tool hangers configured to receive barbecue instruments and tools and/or a hand pull. The tool hangers are attached to the substantially planar portion and project therefrom in a manner wherein the tool hangers oppose each other. The hand pull is configured to be accessed by a user from under the shelf, and maybe further configured to fit user's cupped and upwardly-turned hand. Additionally, the hand pull is preferably configured to be ergonomically shaped for a user's hand.
