Abstract: There is provided a water supply control system for a tap (2). The control system includes a spindle (16) attached at one end to a tap handle (10) and at its other end to a tap rotation detector/valve actuator, the spindle (16) extending through the water supply conduit (3) to a tap rotation detector (5) which sends a signal to a supply valve (4) via a controller (6). The controller (6) triggers closure of the valve (4) if the valve has remained open for a predetermined time interval. The control system also has a detent to limit rotation of the spindle (16) in a tap closing direction.

Abstract: A liquid dispenser having an outlet for dispensing liquid, mixing means for mixing liquid and gas, liquid supply means, and gas supply means, the outlet, mixing means, liquid supply means and/or gas supply means are so arranged that in a first condition liquid and gas may be supplied by the liquid supply means and gas supply means respectively through the mixing means to the outlet thereby dispensing foamed liquid from the outlet, or in a second condition liquid may be supplied to the outlet, thereby dispensing unfoamed liquid from the outlet.
Abstract: Lavatory pans (2) are disclosed comprising an outlet (8) for discharging water into the pan and a passage (20) for supplying water to the outlet, the passage comprising a main portion (22) and an outlet portion (24) which is curved and has a pre-determined downward component of curvature from the main portion to the outlet. The outlet is situated below the main portion of the passage. Also disclosed are processes for producing the lavatory pans and moulding tools for use in the processes. The pans of the invention are particularly useful for secure institutions, are anti-ligature and exhibit a high flush rate.
