Abstract: A duplex label. The duplex label has a first face ply having a printable upper side and a lower side, and a second face ply having an upper side and a printable lower side. A layer of patterned adhesive is situated underneath the lower side of the first face ply. A displaceable liner coating comprising an enabler, a facilitator, and a stabilizer is formulated, and the layer of patterned adhesive is covered with the displaceable liner coating. The displaceable liner coating is activated by bringing the displaceable liner coating in contact with a fluid. The second face ply is secured to the first face ply using the activated displaceable liner coating such that the printable upper side faces away from the printable lower side. The first face ply is secured to the substrate, and the second face ply is sandwiched between the first face ply and the substrate.

Abstract: A patient-identification wristband. The wristband comprises a strap. A terminal portion of the wristband has an upper section and a lower lamination section. The upper section comprises a printable ink defining a print area, a first slot inboard the print area and between the print area and the strap, a second slot outboard the print area, and a third slot outboard the second slot. The lower lamination section has a fourth slot below the second slot and a fifth slot outboard the fourth slot. A size of the fourth slot is bigger than a size of the first slot. A length of the upper section is greater than a length of the lower lamination section such that when the lower lamination section is folded over for lamination, the lower lamination section covers only a first part of the print area and leaves a second part of the print area exposed.

Abstract: A method for printing and applying labels comprises printing indicia on a first label using a printer to form a first printed label and holding the first printed label in a holding tray. The method includes moving an arm from an original position to a first position to collect the first printed label from the holding tray, and rotating the arm in a first direction to move the first printed label towards a substrate. The method comprises moistening the first printed label to activate a dissolvable liner of the first printed label. The method includes using the arm to apply the moistened first printed label to the substrate. The arm is rotated in a second direction away from the substrate. The printer prints a second label before the arm returns to the original position to collect the second label from the holding tray.

Abstract: A single-use magazine for a firearm. A disposable magazine for a firearm comprises a first portion having a plurality of female locking members and a first segment of a spring retainer. The magazine includes a second portion having a plurality of male locking members and second segment of the spring retainer. The magazine comprises an opening configured for retention of cartridges that is formed when the first portion is lockingly engaged to the second portion by the mechanical interaction of the female locking members and the male locking members. The first segment of the spring retainer and the second segment of the spring retainer collectively form the spring retainer when the first portion is lockingly engaged with the second portion.

Abstract: A shipping label is formed of a single ply and is configured to be removably adhered to a liner. The shipping label has a front face configured for the printing of indicia. The label has a back face having a first strip of adhesive, a second strip of adhesive, and a printable area. The first and second adhesive strips respectively extend along a top edge and a bottom edge of the shipping label. The printable area is between the first and second adhesive strips. The liner associated with the shipping label is configured to be removably secured to the first and second adhesive strips. The printable area is adapted to be printed while the liner is removably secured to the first and second adhesive strips.

Abstract: A shelf sign system. The shelf sign system has a base portion having a shelf member configured to be secured to a shelf, an extender extending from the shelf member, and a sign receiver arranged at an end of the extender opposite the shelf member. The sign receiver comprises a head and two grooves defining a neck. A width of the neck is less than a width of the head. The system includes a first sign portion configured to be removably coupled to the sign receiver. Each of two opposing surfaces of the first sign portion are configured to be printable. The first sign portion has a coupling opening. The system includes a second sign portion configured to be removably coupled to the base portion. The first sign portion is removably coupled to and suspended from the base portion whereby the head extends through the coupling opening.

Abstract: A combination wristband and label form. The form includes a polyester section having a single-ply wristband defined by die cuts therein. The wristband includes a foldable portion having a first panel and a second panel. An outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel is coated with a coating configured for receiving printed indicia. An outer surface of at least the other of the first panel and the second panel has adhesive to allow for the first panel to be adhesively secured to the second panel after the coating has received the printed indicia. The void exposes the coating on the outer surface of one of the first panel and the second panel to allow the printed indicia to be printed on the coating through the void. Upon folding the foldable portion, the printed indicia is sandwiched between the first panel and the second panel.

Abstract: A combination wristband and label form. The front side has a first portion having a plurality of labels die cut therein and a second portion having a void. A back side of the form comprises a polyester section. The form includes a single-ply wristband defined by die cuts in the polyester section. The single-ply wristband has a foldable portion comprising a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is configured to accept printed indicia. A strap extends laterally from the first panel in a first direction and a tab extends from the second panel in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The tab is configured to be adhesively adhered to the strap to secure the single-ply wristband around a person's appendage. The single-ply wristband is of unitary construction and is devoid of paper.

Abstract: A combination wristband and label form has a front sheet with a bottom portion having a plurality of labels die cut therein, and a top portion having an indicia-receiving area defined therein. A back sheet of the form has a bottom portion having a release liner, and a top portion having a wristband die cut therein and separable therefrom. The wristband includes first and second arm portions extending in opposite directions from a central portion having a top half and a bottom half. The first and second arm portions have first and second lateral ends with adhesive areas adjacent thereto. A perimeter is defined between an edge defining the top half of the central portion and the indicia-receiving area. Adhesive is provided adjacent at the perimeter. Further, adhesive is provided adjacent the bottom half of the central portion.
