Patents Assigned to Water-Line SA
  • Patent number: 8333684
Abstract: The invention discloses a method of producing a packaging bag from a multilayered sheet material which can be welded on one side, wherein the packaging bag comprises a front wall, a rear wall, a right-hand side gusset, a left-hand side gusset, a bottom and a head portion, which is located opposite the bottom and has an opening which can be closed by a closure element. The two side gussets, the front wall and the rear wall are of essentially the same length and are welded to one another and therefore, other than in the head portion, the side gussets are connected to the front wall and the rear wall over their entire length. The weldable surface is directed towards the interior of the packaging bag.

  • Publication number: 20100022375
Abstract: In a method for the production of packaging bags made of plastic film a section of the packaging bag disposed on one end of the packaging bag is folded upwards along a laterally extending folding line as the folding section, and glued to the packaging bag. Before it is folded, an adhesive is applied to at least one of the two surfaces to be glued. A hot glue is used as the adhesive. The adhesive is applied approximately simultaneously in the form of a plurality of adhesive sections.

  • Patent number: 7022057
Abstract: A device for manufacturing packing bags from two packaging films, comprising two transport rollers, each of which pulls a film from a respective feed roll. The two films have marks printed on them at regular intervals. The transport rollers are pressed against corresponding idler rollers which between them preferably form a feed gap for the films. Downstream of the two transport rollers, there is at least one first buffer taking up slack in the assemblage of the two films or accommodating the lengths of the two films to match each other. The device can be used to synchronize two films that are printed with a regular pattern so that the patterns match.

The two films have marks printed on them at regular intervals. The transport rollers are pressed against corresponding idler rollers which between them form a feed gap for the films. Downstream of the feed gap there is a sealing station which connects the two films with each other by means of a transverse seal. Compressed air is blown into the feed gap via a nozzle so that the two films are taut at the sealing station. The device can be used to weld two films that are printed with a regular pattern so that the patterns match.
