Abstract: The present disclosure provides frozen confectionary products comprising a base frozen confection, wherein the base frozen confection comprises i) a vegetable or vegetable derivative component and ii) one or more sweetening agents. The frozen confectionary products provided in the present disclosure may optionally comprise an oil, an emulsifier, a stabilizer, a salt, and water.

Abstract: Cold desserts incorporating gelatin-based (gummy) components are provided in this paper. In particular, stick-mounted cold desserts, edible-cone cold desserts, and container-served desserts with gelatin-based components are described. The gelatin-based components of these desserts are made from gelatin-based candy material that is specially-formulated for consumption at cold temperatures. The gelatin-based components may be used with other components of a cold dessert such as with flavored water ice, ice cream, sherbet, sorbet, and the like as described throughout this paper.

Abstract: Provided is an assemblable wood brick. A unit of wood brick is composed of five plates including a top plate, two opposite first lateral plates and two opposite second lateral plates. Dovetail tenons, dovetail sluts, sluts and protrusions are correspondingly defined on sides each of the five plates such that the five plates are securely and orthogonally connect to each other at their sides to form a brick unit having a space defined there-inside. In addition, blind hole(s) can be provided on the outer surface of each one of the five plates such that any two brick can stably connect to each other by a fixed member corresponding to and engaging into the holes. Several types of furniture and constructions can be formed by connecting suitable amount of the bricks. Further, blind holes can be defined on both top side and bottom side of the second lateral plates such that any two bricks can stably connect to each other by a fixed member corresponding to and engaging into the holes.

The container has a base and a sidewall extending upward from the base forming a continuous sidewall around the base. The upper portion of the sidewall has a rim and a skirt around the perimeter. The skirt has a removable tear tab to allow access to a lid for removing the lid from the container. The lid also has vents for air to exit the container, thereby preventing rising of the lid in low pressure areas. The vents further prevent entry of air into the container when the sealed container is taken to areas of higher pressure. A method of filling the container leaving an air gap between the product and the lid and utilizing the aforementioned vents is also provided.

Abstract: A container assembly for holding, shipping, and consuming a product, such as a frozen confection, is provided. The container assembly includes a container, a lid, and a utensil. The utensil is connected to the assembly so that a consumer is able to spoon the product from the container. A consumer may purchase the assembly containing a product, open the container, remove the utensil, and consume the product using the self-contained utensil. The assembly may also include a membrane for ensuring freshness and to indicate tampering of the product. The utensil may be attached directly to the lid, or in a pocket between sealed membranes.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for making a frozen confection product is provided. The method includes the use of a plurality of nozzles on a product-making machine. The nozzles are rotated while dispensing a frozen confection to create a swirl configuration in a product holder, such as a cone. The nozzles continue to rotate and dispense the frozen confection therefrom while moving from one set of product holders to the next, to continually dispense the frozen confection to fill each additional set of product holders. An additional confection may also be dispensed in the interior and exterior of the frozen confection and/or product holder. Additional stations, such as filling, stomping, freezing, dipping, and wrapping may be also included with the machine, with the product being indexed to the additional stations of the machine.

Abstract: A system and method to: Protect the process used to hedge Class II handler milk price exposure and to allow the Class II handler to control the use of the process for its customers, producers, or others who are deemed suitable to the Class II handler and are willing to compensate the Class II handler to utilize the process for their hedging requirements. In one aspect of the invention, the Class II handler will be able to offer to its customers a way to transparently hedge (or set) its milk price as a component of its finished goods cost in a fashion that is correlated in accordance to all FASB and Sarbanes-Oxley financial reporting requirements, and provide a competitive advantage over others. The system and method can be applied in analogous ways to buyers and suppliers of different components used for different finished goods.

Abstract: The present invention is a square-shaped product container having a bail pivotally attached to an upper portion of opposite corners of the container. A mating lid for the container is formed which mates with a top portion of the container and has a tab which extends outward and downward from a sealing lip on the lid. The tab on the lid and the bail on the container work in conjunction when a user pulls downward on the bail and upward on the tab to easily pull the tab corner of the lid upward away from the container. Then, the remaining portion of the lid sealed to the container easily follows with forces upward on the lid and downward on the bail.
