    Abstract: Clute-cut glove construction is disclosed comprising in part a bottom hand or palm piece including bottom finger pieces, and a separate back piece for each of the bottom finger pieces. Each back piece further comprises a finger portion and a hand portion. Illustratively, each finger portion of each back piece is cut to have a longer longitudinal length than the associated bottom finger piece. Similarly, each finger portion of each back piece is cut to have a wider width than the associated bottom finger piece. Furthermore, the width of each back piece is uniquely cut to vary along the length of the finger and hand portions. During stitching of the back and bottom pieces, each portion of the bottom piece is stretched in order to align the edges of each bottom piece with the edges of its associated back piece.

    Abstract: A hand wearing apparel display package is comprised of left-hand and right-hand apparel members superimposed with respect to each other with the palm facing the back, a hanger member positioned adjacent the back panel along the open ends, a labeling tag positioned on the outside surface of the hanger member and fastening means extending through the hand wearing apparel members through the hanger member and the labeling tag to complete the display package. Additionally, an apparatus for assembling the hand wearing apparel display package is comprised of a rotatable housing having a first work station adapted to receive the labeling tag, a second work station cooperating with the hanger member dispenser for depositing the hanger member onto the labeling tag and a third fastening work station wherein the hand wearing apparel display package is fastened together.

    Abstract: A glove having a back piece, a palm piece and a thumb construction where the palm piece has a substantially straight slit therein to form a button-hole like opening. The thumb construction is formed of two similarly shaped panels which are joined together and which extend through the slit with the bottom part of the thumb construction being jointed at the edges of the slit to the inwardly facing side of the palm piece.
