Abstract: An organizer having a top panel and a bottom panel with side panels and a rear panel attached between the top panel and the bottom panel. At least one partition panel attaches to the side panels and rear panel so that the side panels, rear panel, top panel, bottom panel, and at least one partition panel define compartments within the organizer. Each compartment corresponds with an opening, wherein the bottom panel serves as a bottom wall for one compartment and wherein the at least one partition panel serves as a bottom wall for another compartment. At least one access panel moveably attaches to a front edge of at least one compartment and bottom wall. The access panel corresponds to a compartment and the opening for that compartment, the opening being located above the bottom wall to which the access panel is attached. The access panel is sized and shaped to pivot in a downward direction to an open position in which the corresponding opening of the corresponding compartment is open.

  • Patent number: 7131222
Abstract: An ironing table and container support ensemble comprises an ironing board movably mounted to leg stands to support the board in a first working position for ironing items on the board and fold with the board to a second folded position. A support movably mounts relative to the leg stands and to the board so that the support moves between a first position beneath the board and a second position to be closer to the board. A container secured to the support has a wall structure that forms a chamber for containing items in a first extended position. In a second position, the container structure occupies less space than in the first container position. The container having a shape and size to rest upon the support when the support and board are in their first positions to place items within the container.

  • Patent number: 7082705
Abstract: An apparatus and methods of use for ironing board cover with a heat-resistant and waterproof panel attached to the cover, the panel having a base surface with a continuous brim and a plurality of protuberances capable of supporting an iron. The brim and the base surface form a basin. The protuberances create a gap between the iron and the base surface so that steam can condense onto the panel within the basin to be retained within the panel by the brim. The steam can also dissipate into the ambient atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 6932227
Abstract: A laundry stand having a plurality of sleeve connectors, a plurality of elongated members, and plurality of crossrods with end connectors thereon. The sleeve connectors include an enlarged head portion, a hollow body portion defining a central bore, and a end portion having a greater diameter than the hollow body portion. The sleeve connector further defines a slot in the tail portion for allowing the end portion to resiliently deflect inwardly to fit within a bore of a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the hollow body portion. The sleeve connectors each also include an inwardly formed resilient tab used to maintain end connectors within the sleeve connector.

  • Patent number: 5979336
Abstract: A portable and adjustable ironing board system in which the ironing board may be securely affixed to a door is shown. The ironing board system of the present invention includes a singular support tube extending along the height of the door and securely attached to both upper and lower edges of the door. The ironing board system has an adjustable ironing board height and the singular support tube is adjustable to securely affix the tube to the door. The ironing board may be placed in the useful horizontal position or in the stored vertical position. The design of the ironing board system provides that the rear end of the ironing board slides along the support tube in a manner such that when in the vertical stored position the upper surface of the ironing board is facing outward. The ironing board can be locked in the downward horizontal position or in the stored vertical position by locking clamps. Further adjustment of the ironing board are allowed by the use of adjustment feet on the support frame.

  • Patent number: 5778573
Abstract: A portable ironing board having a two-way swivel bracket assembly. The ironing board may be affixed to a dryer and stored in the space between a washing machine and dryer and is attached to the dryer by means of an attachment assembly. The attachment assembly allows secure affixing of the entire ironing board assembly to the top, side and bottom of the dryer. The ironing board additionally has a swivel assembly which allows the ironing board to be rotated about a first and a second axis. The first rotation allows the ironing board to be swiveled from a vertical stored position in which the ironing board is directed downwards to a vertical position wherein the ironing board extends outward toward the front of the dryer. The second rotation ability allows the ironing board to be swiveled about such that the ironing board rests upon the top of the dryer.
