Abstract: A large copyholder for holding stacks of documents of varying thickness having a line guide adjustable to accommodate for stack thickness. The line guide is pivotal to also serve variable thickness stacks adjacent the copyholder. The line guide is connected to the copyholder through a frictional axis arrangement to hold the line guide in selected positions.

Abstract: A plastic copyholder having a frame with track means and an arm having upper and lower surfaces. Adjustable elongated block means ride on the track means. Slide means in the block means permit unique pivoting and adjustment of the arm.

Abstract: A loose-leaf sheet binder mechanism with a case, hinge plates, ring halves and trigger lever to operate the hinge plates for opening and closing the ring halves. The case has first lock means on it in the form of a raised or dimpled member and the trigger lever has complementary second lock means on it.

Abstract: A line guide holder for support on and selective positioning along a surface to provide marking of a line of written material mounted on a copy holder. The holder is slidably mounted in a groove along one side of the copy holder.

Abstract: A lever operated sheet punch device having recesses to receive portable die mounts which mounts can be readily removed or replaced. When mounts are placed in the recesses, alignment means both on the mount and the recesses function to align and position the mounts in a selected position. To inactivate a mount it can be removed or its configured die head turned to a position where the lever will not operate it.

Abstract: A slide compression mechanism for a flexible post binder is disclosed which includes specially constructed means for limiting outward movement of each compressor member relative to the channel member on which it is slidably mounted. More particularly, this motion limiting means comprises at least one pair of specially constructed interengageable longitudinally aligned stops positioned internally of the channel member. The slide compression mechanism also possesses a hook portion having a raised lip on the hook end which not only facilitates automatic assembly of the slide compression mechanism onto the channel member but also serves as a means for limiting the inward movement of each compressor member relative to the channel member.

Abstract: A film and card holder constructed of a plurality of terraced V-shaped pocket panels held in a semi-rigid frame, the pocket panels being spaced selected distances from one another by spacing tabs integrally formed in and extending from the bottoms of adjacent panels. The frame includes apertures for receiving a foldable stand for positioning the holder in an upstanding position for use.

Abstract: A bound volume and a method of making the same is disclosed. The bound volume incorporates a bar extending along the length of the spine of the volume and secured to the spine. A pair of end caps are provided which allow the bound volume to be hung in a convenient manner. The end caps engage the ends of the bar, which extend from the bound volume, and may be removed to allow convenient use. The end caps include surfaces for either slidably engaging rails or hookingly engaging bars.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in stripping a continuous web of severable material from at least along a portion of the marginal edge of a body comprising supporting means having a receiving surface upon which the body with the continuous web is advanced along a predetermined path. The apparatus embodies deflecting means pivotally connected to the supporting means for assisting in directing the leading edge of the advanced continuous web vertically so as to facilitate a stripping thereof while permitting travel of the body along the path. Stripping means including a pair of generally longitudinal and cooperating rollers are contemplated as being connected to the supporting means and positioned along the path for grabbing therebetween the vertically deflected continuous web and stripping it from the body in response to the advancement of the body along the path.

Abstract: A binding machine for binding sheets in a stack by the application of glue along one edge of the sheets. The binding machine incorporates a manually operated clamp mechanism to hold the sheets together with sufficient compression to maintain the proper alignment of the sheets for the application of glue to the sheet edge.
