Abstract: Disclosed is an air cleaner a body, a cover detachably provided on a front side of the body and configured to have an intake hole to take air into the body, a filter case disposed between the body and the cover such that a filter is attached to the filter case, and an authorized filter sensor attached to the filter and the filter case to sense whether the filter is authorized, wherein the authorized filter sensor includes a transmitting member attached to a lower end portion of the filter or included in the lower end portion of the filter and a detecting member provided on the filter case to sense the transmitting member and detect a variable electrical property.

Abstract: There are provided an air leakage preventing structure and an air cleaner having the same. The air leakage preventing structure includes: a partition unit having an inlet opening formed on one side thereof to allow air to be introduced therethrough and having a rib formed to be protruded from the circumference of the inlet opening; an air blowing fan coupled to the partition unit and rotating to allow air to be introduced through the inlet opening; a motor unit connected to the air blowing fan to rotate the air blowing fan; and an air guide unit connected to the rib formed to be protruded from the partition unit to form an outlet opening, and preventing air leakage when air introduced through the net opening flows out through the outlet opening.

Abstract: An air washer in which a water tank unit may be pulled out in a frontward direction is provided, in which a water container to supply water to the water tank unit may be omitted, water may be supplied by directly pulling out the water tank unit in the frontward direction instead, and a front panel or a shielding panel may be used to shield a space formed between the water tank storage portion and the water tank unit when the water tank unit is stored in the water tank storage portion.
