  • Patent number: 8991729
Abstract: A valve for a spray gun sprays free-flowing media with the use of compressed air. The valve includes a valve housing arrangement and a valve element, wherein the valve element is disposed at least partially in the valve housing arrangement, there being formed in the valve element a mixing chamber for mixing and discharging at least one spray medium with compressed air. The valve element and the valve housing arrangement are constituted such that the valve element can be moved relative to the valve housing arrangement from a first position into a second position, and that at least one spray medium can be fed to the mixing chamber in the first position and compressed air can be fed to the same via the valve housing arrangement in the second position, wherein the valve element is disposed on the valve housing arrangement so as to be rotatable from the first position into the second position.

  • Patent number: 6634570
Abstract: A spray gun for spraying of abrasive media includes a valve operable by a nozzle needle. The valve is arranged in a gun head and has a nozzle opening. The spray gun has an operating and return device for the nozzle needle. In order for the spray gun to be self-cleaning and to be able to process several components with abrasive material, the valve includes a nozzle channel, which ends in the nozzle opening. The nozzle needle is movably supported in the nozzle channel. At least one bore laterally enters the nozzle channel to supply the media. The bore can be closed off by the nozzle needle, which has an outer diameter almost equal to an inner diameter of the nozzle channel. The length of the nozzle needle in chosen so that when the nozzle needle is in a resting state, the needle extends at least to the nozzle opening of the spray gun.

  • Patent number: 6315442
Abstract: Instead of a discontinuous mixing process for mixing two or more flowable materials for a paint-spraying plant, a continuous mixing and conveying process is provided. Use is made of individual conveyor pumps driven individually by hydraulic adjusting units in the form of double-acting hydraulic cylinders. Control is exerted by an electronic control device controlling a proportional governor at hydraulic connecting lines between the adjusting units to adjust the stroke of pistons of the adjusting units and thus the ratio of the flowable material conveyed.

  • Patent number: 6123008
Abstract: A compact transportable compressed-air piston engine for paint-spraying devices, dosing pumps, grease guns or the like, makes it possible, without much effort, to carry out various length working strokes of a working piston. A compact engine is obtained by mounting the control in/on the cylinder head or in/on the cylinder bottom with axes extending transversely with respect to a main axis so that stroke changes can be achieved solely by the working piston contacting the valve piston rods of switch valves. In addition, return springs are not needed in the switch valves, which are required for reversing and are operated by the working piston.
