Abstract: A device and method for spanning a gap between adjacent surfaces is provided. The device includes a pin or pin plate rotatably connected to a cover plate, preferably using a ball and socket joint. The pin or pin plate, connected to the cover plate, can be inserted into the gap and the cover plate can be rotated to engage the adjacent surfaces, thereby covering the gap.
Abstract: At least two blowers are controlled with baffles to create circulating zones of airflow which circulate in a substantially horizontal plane within a convection oven cavity. This airflow minimizes the potential for airflow paths to be broken up or blocked by the configuration of objects placed in the oven. The substantially horizontal airflow reduces the non-uniformity of air temperature distribution within the oven cavity. The blowers may be controlled to rotate either simultaneously or alternately, depending on the selected mode of operation. The blowers and associated heating elements are controlled to operate in various cooking modes by the controller in response to a mode selector input.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for appliance installation and leveling using a leveling caster. The leveling caster includes a top shelf connected to wheels by a scissors type structure. The height of the scissors type structure can be adjusted using an adjustment bolt from the front of the appliance, without requiring access to the rear of the appliance. The leveling caster is adjustable over a wide range of heights, is strong enough to bear heavy appliances, and allows height adjustment while minimizing incidental horizontal motion.
Abstract: A stacked dual gas burner which achieves good performance at high firing rates as well as good simmer performance at low firing rates. The stacked dual gas burner includes a main burner and a second (simmer) burner. The main burner and second burner are positioned in a stacked relation in a burner assembly, with the second burner positioned coaxially with and below the main burner. The second burner radius is smaller than the main burner radius, such that a portion of the main burner overhangs the second burner adjacent to the second burner ports. Recirculation underneath the overhanging edge of the main burner above the simmer burner ports helps maintain flame attachment at the second burner ports. A valve may be used to provide separately controllable flows of fuel to each of the main and second burners.
