Abstract: An apparatus for examining a flowable material comprises a tube having an opening for receiving material and an opening for discharging material. Further, the tube comprises a segment adapted for making measurements. Adjacent the tube section there is a measuring device having a light source on one side for transmitting light into the segment and a light receiver on the opposite side to measure the effect upon the light of a material placed in the segment. At the beam path between the light source and the light receiver, the walls of the tube segment are made of a material being translucent or transparent to the range of light wavelengths to be examined. A recording unit connected to the measuring device records individual measurement values or sets of same on material placed in the tube segment.
Abstract: Arrangement for securing a replaceable cutting blade (1) on a rotating knife holder (2) in a cutting assembly for a meat mincing machine, the blade (1) of the rotating knife holder (2) rotating along the surface of a perforated disc (3), the arrangement comprising at least one slot (4) in the knife holder (2) adapted to the thickness of the cutting blade (1) in such a way that the replaceable cutting blade (1) can be positioned in the slot (4) and thereby partially secured in the knife holder (2). The arrangement comprises a screw (5) positioned in a threaded bore (6) provided in the knife holder (2), the threaded bore extending transversely with respect to the slot (4) in such a way that the screw (5) can be moved in the threaded bore (2) to engagement with a replaceable cutting blade (1) inserted into the slot for completely securing the blade in the knife holder (2). The threaded bore (6) is provided as a blind hole with a minor hole at the bottom for insertion of a tool for tightening the screw (5).

A recording unit connected to the measuring device records individual measurement values or sets of same on material placed in the tube segment.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of mixing inhomogeneous flowable food material, fodder material, or pharmaceutical material in a tank provided with mixing devices. The method comprises measuring and registering the content of one or a number of components in samples taken from the material in the tank.
Abstract: The apparatus comprises a control for intermittent operation of the reciprocating drive in such a manner, that the drive, taking the topmost position of the multi-needle injector as a point of departure, is started by receiving a synchronizing signal produced when the intermittent advancement of the production line stops in a correct position, after which the drive carries out a complete cycle of downward and upward movement of the multi-needle injector and stopping in said topmost position in readiness for a new synchronizing signal, the cycle time of the drive being shorter than the time of rest for the intermittent advancement of the production line, whereas the multi-needle injector is designed to cover a space in the direction of advancement of the production line corresponding to at least one advancement step for the intermittent advancement of the food product by the production line.
Abstract: Apparatus for injecting pickle into meat products comprising a multiple needle injector with needles, a crank mechanism operated by a motor and connected with the multiple needle injector to move the injector upward and downward, a transport mechanism positioned below the injector, a motor speed regulator to control the speed of the motor and an input signal for deducing the position of the injector.
