Abstract: A dunnage support bar for supporting and retaining dunnage is formed with a number of longitudinal extending semicircular indented ribs for strengthening the bar and resisting bending. The dunnage bar has a T-shaped channel for slidingly receiving the dunnage, which supports an article to be transported. The bar is formed of at least two members, one folded within another, so as to affix the members together and prevent relative motion.
