Abstract: A platform for creating a file specifying parameters required to deploy an application, the platform configured to: receive input for fields present in a deployment file for an application, the input fields imposing constraints on a node where the application can be deployed; interrogate a database storing information on nodes available to deploy the application; identify, from the database, the nodes with operation parameters that comply with the imposed constraints; display, through an interface, one or more layouts for selection, each layout providing a possible combination of the identified nodes to deploy the application; and generate the deployment file based on the selected layout.
Abstract: A system for supporting services that uses a distributed ledger to record transaction data, the system comprising a block producing node comprising a processor arrangement configured to record a new data block into the distributed ledger, the processor arrangement configured to execute computer-readable program code to: receive a data package comprising transaction data for recording into a new data block of the distributed ledger, the data package bearing a signature arrangement, the signature arrangement being performed externally; validate the signature arrangement of the received data package; determine whether consensus is present through a sufficient number of other block producing nodes in the system having also received the data package and validated its signature arrangement; and record the transaction data from the received data package into a new data block of the distributed ledger, in response to confirmation of the consensus being present.
Abstract: It is provided a multi-access edge computing node located within a cellular coverage area supported by a base station of a mobile network operator, the multi-access edge computing node comprising at least one memory to store a chained data block, where each data block is coded with data of a past transaction in respect of a good or service; and at least one stock processor configured with functions that: include a new data block, to record a current transaction in respect of a good or service, into the chained data block in response to a signature, generated from processing the data of the current transaction with the coded data of the past transactions stored in the chained data block, being validated by a group of external multi-access edge computing nodes, wherein the multi-access edge computing node and the group of external multi-access edge computing nodes are trusted, and communicate over a common channel.
