Abstract: The present invention provides a dispensing apparatus adapted to dispense a cap for capping a container from a plurality of caps. Dispensing apparatus includes a holding portion for holding the plurality of caps; a retaining device including a gap, the gap expandable between a retaining configuration such that the plurality of caps is prevented from passing through the gap thereby retaining the plurality of caps within the holding portion and a releasing configuration wherein the cap is releasable from the holding portion through said gap; a positioning device configured to receive the cap from the retaining device, the positioning device includes an opening, the opening is expandable between a narrow configuration such that the cap is not passable therethrough and a wide configuration such that the cap is passable therethrough.

Abstract: A beverage dispensing apparatus having a beverage chamber adapted to contain a liquid, an inlet adapted to allow the liquid to flow into but not out of the beverage chamber; a dispensing opening adapted to retain the liquid within the beverage chamber by capillary effect, the dispensing opening adapted to allow the liquid therethrough to flow out of the beverage chamber, such that the dispensing opening is subjected to a liquid pressure when the beverage chamber contains the liquid; and a pressure changer operable to decrease the liquid pressure at the dispensing opening; such that the pressure changer is adapted to decrease the liquid pressure when the liquid flows into the beverage chamber so as to retain the liquid within the beverage chamber by surface tension of the liquid due to the capillary effect and ambient pressure at the dispensing opening. A method of dispensing the beverage, a beverage brewing apparatus and a method of brewing the beverage is also provided.

Abstract: A device for fitting a screw cap to a container, the device comprising a guide (104) for insertion of a container (106) along a first axis (108), and a holding area (110) for loading of the cap(s) (114) along a second axis (116). The holding area is coupled to the guide so as to form a channel (112) there-between. A slider (118) is movable along the channel so as to allow loading of the cap into the holding area and subsequently bring the cap into contact with a rotating engaging element (120). The slider holds the cap in place against the rotating engaging element while it rotates to fit the cap to the container. The first axis is different from the second axis such that the cap is supported by a portion of the guide upon release from the holding area.
