Abstract: A search request is received from a user and the user's context is determined. A publisher is determined for the search request. Candidate advertisements are retrieved from at least one advertisement database to create an advertisement candidate pool, the retrieving based on the user context and the search request. A set of advertisements are selected from the advertisement candidate pool. A georelevance is determined for each of the set of advertisements. The set of advertisements is sorted, wherein the advertisements are sorted based on, at least in part, the georelevance of each of the set of advertisements. The sorted set of advertisements is then transmitted to the user.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to present advertisements on mobile devices for communication connections of multiple content types. In one embodiment, a method includes: providing an advertisement to a mobile device, the advertisement to include a communication reference to be used by the mobile device to request a communication connection; and billing for the advertisement in response to an initiation of a communication, comprising more than one of text, voice, audio, image, and video, via the communication reference.

Abstract: Methods, machine-readable media, apparatuses and systems are provided to save electronic advertisements selected by a user. An electronic advertisement displayed with a first application of a mobile device of the user is received after selection of a save option associated with the electronic advertisement. The electronic advertisement is saved. The electronic advertisement is provided to the mobile device after receipt of a command from a second application of the mobile device. The electronic advertisements may include any type of incentive or offer, including coupons.

Abstract: A data processing system collects messages to create user profiles for users of user devices. The messages are collected from various systems and include data regarding user events on user devices. The user profiles are stored in a targeting database. In response to a request for information corresponding to a user device, a user profile is identified using data from the request and information from the profile is provided to the requester.

Abstract: Systems and methods to provide advertisements based on the content of documents in which the advertisements are presented. One embodiment includes: a web server to receive a request for an advertisement in reference to a document provided to a user by a content provider; a backend server to identify the advertisement based on relevancy of the advertisement to the content of the document and to associate a communication reference with the advertisement and the content provider, the web server to provide the advertisement and the reference for inclusion in the document; and a telecommunication server coupled to a session border controller and the backend server to receive a connection request via the reference, to determine contact information of the advertiser and identify the content provider based on the reference, and to establish the connection between the user and the advertiser using the determined contact information.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to dynamically allocate location dependent telephone numbers to facilitate voice connections between people. One embodiment includes: responsive to a request from a user, selecting a telephone number from a plurality of telephone numbers of a connection server to match a location indicator of the request; embedding the telephone number in an advertisement, the telephone number to be used by the user to initiate a telephone call to the connection server for further connection to an advertiser of the advertisement; and providing the advertisement with the telephone number of the connection server as a response to the request. In one embodiment, responsive to receiving the telephone call at the telephone number of the connection server from the user, whether to play a prompt message to the user is determined based at least in part on statistic data about telephone calls collected at the connection server.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses to selectively present and customize user prompts in establishing anonymized communication connections, based on available information about the parties to be connected and/or user preferences. For example, the information can be transmitted from a mobile device to a connection server for association with the communication reference of the mobile device in response to an input from the user of the mobile device. The association is configured to expire after a predetermined period of time. During the predetermined period of time, if a connection server receives a call from the mobile device, the information associated with the communication reference of the mobile device is used to customize the interactive voice response prompts for further connecting the call to a service provider.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to coordinate meetings between users of mobile devices on a mobile communications network. Users of the mobile communication network send one another meeting invitations over the network. The system receives the current geospatial position of one or more such users, as well as category selections that relate to attributes of potential meeting locations meetings. The system selects meeting locations for users using the current geospati.al positions of the users and the category selections such that meeting locations are located at a geospati.al positions between the users. The system can additionally select meeting locations that factor in user preferences and historical activities.

Abstract: Methods and systems to specify complex geographic areas for advertisements to connect advertisers and customers for real time communications. One embodiment includes: a web server to present a user interface to receive input specifying a plurality of geographic areas and one or more operations to combine the plurality of geographic areas into a geographic area of service of an advertisement and to provide the advertisement with a reference of a connection server for presentation to a customer when a location of the customer matches with the geographic area of service of the advertisement; and a connection server to receive a request from the customer for a connection to an advertiser of the advertisement and to provide the connection for real time communications between the customer and the advertiser in response to the request made via the reference of the connection server.

Abstract: A method and system of advertising. In response to a request received from an advertiser, an audio advertisement is generated based on visual advertisement information. The audio advertisement is provided for presentation on behalf of the advertiser. In one embodiment, the audio advertisement is an abbreviated form of the visual advertisement information. A determination is made as to whether a call from a customer has been connected to the advertiser via the audio advertisement. The advertiser is charged a predefined fee if it is determined that a call from a customer has been connected to the advertiser via the audio advertisement. In one embodiment, a text for a first advertisement presentable in a first media type is received to generate an abbreviated text for a second advertisement presentable in a second media type.
