  • Patent number: 6139497
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to display an image during the freeze mode or the cine reproduction mode which has a degree of averaging different from images displayed during the real-time display mode. During the real-time display mode, images are displayed based on the averaged image data F.sub.n. During the freeze mode or the cine reproduction mode, a plurality of sets of averaged image data F are read from a cine memory 3 and a calculation is performed thereon in the calculator 10 to generate averaged image data G having a degree of averaging different from the averaged image data F or unaveraged image data G. Then an image based on the data G is displayed.

  • Patent number: 6137289
Abstract: In order to prevent image quality degradation which occurs when a flow compensating pulse is applied in a pulse sequence according to the fast spin echo technique, a bipolar pulse constituted of gzfcf and gzmfcf (FIG. 5) is incorporated in the slice gradient before an inversion pulse applied immediately before the flow compensating pulse constituted of fcrdep and fcrrep incorporated in the read gradient in the pulse sequence, thereby imparting a phase shift equal to a non-linear phase shift due to the flow compensating pulse constituted of fcrdep and fcrrep.

  • Patent number: 6061421
Abstract: In an X-ray CT imaging apparatus which is designed to produce a CT image in a short time, a master processor (MP) converts fan-view image data produced by multiple X-ray sensors into para-view image data, and thereafter distributes the resulting data to slave processors (SP1 through SP4), which are also supplied with modification data (B1 through B4). The slave processors (SP1 through SP4) implement the first pre-processing, second pre-processing, FBP process and post processing continuously, thereby producing BP data (I1 through I4). The master processor (MP) collects and composes the BP data (I1 through I4) to produce a CT image.

  • Patent number: 6019723
Abstract: In order to decrease the amount of operation required for an operator to move a cursor and in order to allow the operator to distinctly view deviation of CRL (Crown Rump Length) of a fetus from a normal value, when an ultrasonic image of a fetus F is displayed and a first cursor C1 is positioned at the head (or the rump) of the fetus F, a second cursor C2 is initially displayed at a position which corresponds to a normal CRL obtained from GA (Gestation Age) estimated from the last menstruation date. When the second cursor C2 is moved and positioned at the rump (or the head) of the fetus F, the measured CRL and GA estimated therefrom are displayed.
