Abstract: A method of making a skirt which comprises: providing a silicone sheet having a tab and a plurality of cut strands, applying an adhesive to the first side and rolling the first side of the silicone sheet about a non-stick whipping to form a skirt insert. A cap is provided where the cap is tubular having a first open end and a closed second end, the second end has an orifice and a tubular portion having an inside surface. An adhesive is applied to the inside surface of the tubular portion. The skirt insert is then inserted into the open end of the cap to form a skirt and the non-stick whipping is inserted through the orifice of the cap. The adhesive on the skirt insert and the cap is then cured to form a skirt. After curing the non-stick whipping is removed form the skirt.

Abstract: A fishing lure is a shaped mixture of a synthetic rubber polymer and an oil. A coating of a permanent detackifier is spread over the surface of the lure.
Abstract: In a heat exchanging apparatus for a vapor compression refrigerant cycle, an internal heat exchanger is attached to an end of a radiator. The internal heat exchanger is arranged such that high-pressure refrigerant passages are closer to the radiator than low-pressure refrigerant passages. The heat exchanging apparatus can be mounted on a vehicle such that the radiator receives cooling air more than the internal heat exchanger. Because the internal heat exchanger performs heat exchange between high-pressure refrigerant and low-pressure refrigerant, performance of the internal heat exchanger is not degraded even if it is located at a part receiving less cooling air. Thus, the heat exchanging apparatus is easily mounted on a vehicle by integrating the internal heat exchanger with the radiator, without reducing a cooling capacity of the radiator.
Abstract: A fishing lure skirt is prepared from a flat blank of cured elastomer having a head and trailing filaments. A strip of solid, tacky uncured elastomer is applied to the head, and the head is wrapped around a cylindrical mandrel, with the uncured strip facing outwardly to form a tubular head. The uncured strip is then cured by the application of heat.
