    Abstract: The apparatus for dosing and dispensing a predetermined volume of powdered material into containers sequentially moving the one after the other along a rectilinear path, comprises two rotary doser-dispenser units presenting a plurality of open-ended radial chambers which, upon rotation of the doser-dispenser units around a common rotational axis are sequentially inserted into the powdered material contained into a tank, suction being applied so that the chambers are filled with the powdered material, and thereafter are sequentially brought the one after the other into axial alignment with the receiving open end of the containers, pneumatic pressure being applied to discharge the powdered material from each chamber into the respectively aligned container. The common rotational axis of the two rotary doser-dispenser units is parallel to the rectilinear path along which the containers move.

    Abstract: An apparatus for the dosing of finely powdered material employs a volumetric chamber adapted to receive an amount predetermined by volume of the powdered material, and presenting a filtering screen through which pneumatic suction is applied for the taking up and compacting of the powdered material, and pneumatic pressure is applied for the discharge of the said powdered material.The said filtering screen is made of a fabric of mono-filament synthetic material, and preferably of mono-filaments of a polytetrafluoroethylene resin, said mono-filaments constituting both the warp and the weft of the fabric.

    Abstract: The dosing device, particularly adapted for filling gelatine capsules with measured amounts of pharmaceutical materials, comprises a tubular housing which is vertically movable up and down. To the lower end of said housing where there is secured a hollow punch, inside which there is slidably mounted an ejecting piston. The piston rod extends with its upper end into the tubular housing and is operatively connected to an actuating rod, axially movable at the interior of said housing, through a magnetic type connection. To this purpose, the lower end of the actuating rod is provided with a permanent magnet, while the upper end of the piston rod is provided with a pastille or disc made of ferromagnetic material. The disassembly of the piston rod from the actuating rod takes place by simply detaching the two parts, with minimum effort.

    Abstract: The apparatus for dosing metered amounts of dense pasty pharmaceutical substances and for inserting same into gelatine capsules, comprises an extrusion press which extrudes a layer of substance having a uniform density and a predetermined thickness or height. A hollow punch presenting a cavity is dipped inside said layer for its whole thickness or height, so as to take out of said layer, due to the inherent viscosity of the substance, a predetermined dose of the substance itself. The hollow punch is then positioned above an empty capsule half, and the dose is discharged into the said capsule half by means of an ejecting piston slidably movable at the interior of the hollow punch. The extrusion press comprises two parallel walls, one of which is adjustable so as to vary its distance from the other wall, thus varying the thickness of the layer of substance being extruded.
