Patent number: 6213355Abstract: The invention relates to a closure membrane (2) with a closure head (5) and a retaining border (3), the closure head being connected to the retaining border via a connecting wall adjoining the outer border, with the entire arrangement being of essentially cup-shaped design, the closure head preferably being of a thickness which increases outwards from the center. The connecting wall is attached to the closure head via a connecting web (51) which is of lesser thickness than the border region of the closure head and which in the rest position of the membrane projects radially inwards from the connecting wall.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1999Date of Patent: April 10, 2001Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Sigurd Schwanenberg

Patent number: 6170710Abstract: A closure consisting of a lid and a body is provided, wherein part of the body can be depressed radially, be fixed in the depressed state and forms a recessed grip. The fixation of part 3 can be permanent and undetachable and can thus render a closure tamper proof by indicating that a closure is opened for the first time. Furthermore, an indicator plate, which breaks away when the depressible part is depressed, can additionally render a closure tamper proof. Furthermore, the depressible part can return to its original position after the lid is lifted so that when closing the lid again, the closure cannot be opened before the depressible part is depressed again. In this embodiment an indicator plate arranged on the depressible part renders the closure tamper proof, and, furthermore, the return of the depressed part into the original position renders the closure child proof.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 1998Date of Patent: January 9, 2001Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Udo Suffa

Patent number: 6095381Abstract: The invention relates to a self-closing closure with a closure cap (1), with a through-passage opening (8) formed in the closure cap (1), and with a closure membrane (2), assigned to the through-passage opening (8), the closure membrane (2) having a bottom retaining border (3) and a top, essentially concave closure head (5), the closure head (5) and the retaining border (3), furthermore, being connected by a connecting wall (4), and, for the purpose of achieving a solution which is favorable in terms of both usage and production, proposes that a widened region (9) adjoins the through-passage opening (8) towards the outside, that the closure head (5) is arranged in the widened region (9), and that the connecting wall (4) extends into the widened region (9), passing through the through-passage opening in the process.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 1998Date of Patent: August 1, 2000Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Sigurd Schwanenberg

Patent number: 5368176Abstract: A snap hinge closure has a lid which pivots about a main axis of rotation with film hinges aligned therewith. When the lid is closed, no parts of the hinge project beyond the surfaces of the closure.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 1991Date of Patent: November 29, 1994Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Klaus Thanisch

Patent number: 5090601Abstract: This invention relates to a closure for a container such as a bottle having mouth, the closure including a closure plug fit into the mouth, a plug with a turnspout and a shield disposed on the plug. A cap is fitted on the plug and has a lateral opening through which the turnspout can pass in an operational position. When the turnspout is in a closed position, the shield closes the lateral opening.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1990Date of Patent: February 25, 1992Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Klaus J. Patent number: 5067624Abstract: A closure of plastic, especially polypropylene, for the necks of containers, especially bottles. The outer wall (8) of the closure flares lengthwise of the neck from the top end of the closure down to a circumferential line (29) of maximum size and tapers again toward the bottom end of the closure. The bottom part (2) and lid (26) of the closure are joined together by a snap hinge (28). This snap hinge is integral with the bottom part and lid and is situated in their outer walls. The depth of the main part (26.1) of the lid (26) is substantially less than the difference in level of the closure between its circumferential line (29) of maximum size and its upper end. For its connection to the snap hinge (28) the lid has an arm (26.3) on one side. The active elements of the snap hinge are disposed symmetrically with the circumferential line (29). This closure has a lid of relatively small size and can be made with a two-part injection mold which does not need to have any lateral slides.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1990Date of Patent: November 26, 1991Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Klaus Thanisch

Patent number: 5012940Abstract: An originality guarantee for closures of containers, particularly bottles. It has a label (12) which, after it has been removed or damaged, indicates that the closure has been opened. The closure portions (4,6) which are to be moved apart when it is opened are provided with flat recesses for receiving the label (12). The recesses merge from one closure portion into the other or others and together have the external shape and size of the label. Such a label indicates that the closure has been opened when it is torn or cut through. The invention also prevents the possibility of the label being removed and glued on again. This purpose can be served by the said recess which makes it impossible for a user to engage beneath the label with a finger nail or a tool and to lift it away. Instead of a recess a horseshoe-shaped wall (22) can be provided which surrounds at least a portion of the label. It may be broken away so that the user has access to the label.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 1988Date of Patent: May 7, 1991Assignee: Zeller Plastik GmbHInventor: Jochen Koehn
