Abstract: A flush actuator assembly is adapted to fit existing valve bodies. The flush actuator assembly includes a plunger rod which is capable of displacing the relief valve post more or less to adjust the flow of water through the flush valve during a single flush. The relief valve post may be displaced different amounts by adjusting the actuator assembly such that the plunger rod contacts the relief valve post at different locations along the central longitudinal axis of the post. Additionally, the relief valve post may be displaced different amounts by providing a plunger rod that has a different range of travel. A method associated with displacing the relief valve post varying amounts is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080014022
Abstract: A two-part grate assembly for a channeled drain trough. The grate assembly has a grate frame that receives a removable grate section. The grate frame has lugs with vertical projections extending therefrom that define securing recesses that assist in aligning and securing the grate frame atop a drain trough. Additionally, the present invention is directed to the use of an alignment bar that prevents the grate section from sliding out of operating position within the grate frame by restricting lateral movement of the grate section. Further, the present invention is directed to a method of providing a grate assembly for a channeled drain trough having a grate frame that is adapted to receive a removable grate section.

  • Publication number: 20070236003
Abstract: A stabilizing collar which is adapted to fasten to a drain pipe for stabilizing a drain. The stabilizing collar in the form of a ring includes an opening between an inner surface for receipt of a pipe and defines an engagement member for securing the body to the pipe and a support receiving member adapted to receive a support member for supporting the drain on the stabilizing collar. The present invention further provides for a method of installing the stabilizing collar to stabilize a receptacle body of the drain. The receptacle body is attached to the pipe and the support members are adjusted so that they contact the receptacle body and therefore provide support to keep the receptacle body at the same slope as the floor level.

  • Publication number: 20060185731
Abstract: A backflow preventor that generally includes a modular fluid arrangement having a modular strut, a one-piece modular cage, a relief valve fluidly connected to the modular cage, and at least one in-line check valve removably housed in the modular cage. In operation, when backflow occurs, pressure in a chamber of the relief valve increases to provide a passageway for fluid to flow out of the modular cage, through the relief valve, to the environment. When the backflow stops, the pressure in the chamber decreases and the passageway closes, moving the fluid through the interior of the modular cage.

Abstract: A grease removal system includes a solid interceptor fluidly coupled to a grease trap tank, which is fluidly coupled to a secondary tank. The secondary tank contains an enzyme solution which biodegrades the grease. The grease removal system may also include a solid interceptor fluidly coupled to a grease trap tank which is fluidly coupled to a replaceable container. Grease is diverted from the grease trap tank into the replaceable container and thereafter discarded. The grease removal system may include a grease trap tank utilizing a unique arrangement of grease baffles and solids baffles which work together to isolate grease within a single region of the grease trap tank for ease of disposal. Finally, the grease removal system includes two level sensors which detect the level of grease within the grease trap tank and, at the appropriate level direct the accumulated grease from the grease trap tank.

  • Patent number: 6945264
Abstract: A flow control module has a valve body with a bore extending therethrough and a first disc occupying substantially the entire area of the bore and having at least one aperture extending therethrough. The valve body also includes a second disc adjacent to the first disc wherein the second disc also occupies substantially the entire area of the bore and has at least one aperture extending therethrough. The discs are rotated so that the apertures may align to increase or to reduce flow therethrough. The valve body also includes a check valve proximate to the first disc and the second disc to close and prevent backflow.
