Abstract: A system for locating unmanned mobile connected objects, such as, but not limited to, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), such as, but not limited to drones, and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) is disclosed. A command center may be configured to identify current locations of unmanned mobile connected objects, predict future locations of unmanned mobile connected objects, predict and prevent collisions of unmanned mobile connected objects, identify unpredictable variables, such as, but not limited to, plane crashes, disaster areas, cranes interfering with flight paths and no-fly zones and search for unmanned mobile connected objects even if there is no radio signal coverage or in situations when radio signals are inactive, such as during disasters and emergency situations. The system may be configured such that an unmanned mobile connected object may populate a neighboring table with information such as geolocation, cell signal strength, and status, and may be shared with a command center.

Abstract: A system for distributing virtual entity behavior profiling in cloud deployments is disclosed. In particular, the system may include conducting entity behavior profiling closer to where data and data logs are generated, such as at a hypervisor server, in a distributed fashion. By doing so, the system may reduce bandwidth consumption typically associated with transferring data to a central processing system, may be able to use more data collected closer to sources of data generation, and may provide faster reaction times because of the faster processing of data enabled by the system. Additionally, the system may assist with reducing false positives associated with malware detection and other compromises associated with entities by aggregating the results of distributed computations at different sites.

Abstract: A system for providing drone piggybacking on vehicles is disclosed. In particular, the system may enable drones or other unmanned mobile connected devices to piggyback onto various types of hosts, such as vehicles, in a symbiotic fashion. Through the symbiotic relationship created between the drones and hosts, the drones may utilize the hosts as a means for transport, such as while delivering a good to an intended destination, and the hosts may receive certain incentives in exchange for transporting the drones. Drones may be paired with hosts based on any number of factors, such as whether the host is traveling on a route that corresponds with reaching the intended destination, whether the host is capable of recharging the drone, and whether the drone has sufficient power to reach the intended destination. By enabling drones to piggyback with hosts, the required traveling range for a drone may be reduced.

Abstract: A network addressable appliance with digital multimedia recording capabilities has limited access including playback of stored multimedia content upon faulty connection with a service provider network. Upon a connectivity event, the network addressable appliance compares a retrieved hardware address for a connected residential gateway to a stored hardware address for an assigned residential gateway. If the two hardware addresses correspond, the network addressable appliance provides playback to stored multimedia content. The system helps prevent violations of digital rights management rules by restricting access to stored multimedia content while the network addressable appliance is connected to an unauthorized residential gateway. A multi-dimensional dataset comparison includes receiving a plurality of datasets, each including a plurality of coordinates, wherein a subset of coordinates defines a geo-fence. For a coordinate within a geo-fence of one of the plurality of datasets, determining analogous coordinates in each of the other datasets, the analogous coordinates defining a coordinate input set, and performing in parallel an operation on the coordinate input set to determine whether an entry is present at a coordinate of the coordinate input set.

Abstract: A method for personalizing communication services includes defining selectable options for a system that provides communication services. When a communication from a party is received, a computer of the system automatically determines, based on environmental data provided for the communication independent of information provided by the party during the communication, information predictive of potential objectives potentially desired by the party initiating the communication. Probabilities are assigned, based on the predictive information, that the selectable options will address the potential objectives. The selectable options are dynamically updated selectable options based on the assigned probabilities. Communications with the initiating party are in accordance with a script that includes the updated selectable options.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to dynamically switching user equipment (“UE”) categories for adaptive mobile communications. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a connected car device can determine whether it is operating in an idle mode or a connected mode. Based upon whether the connected car device is operating in the idle mode or the connected mode, the connected car device can determine an active UE category from a set of available UE categories. The connected car device can send the active user equipment category to a base station.

The interactive communication is monitored over a communication network using a computer with a processor and memory for input during the interactive communication. When an input incompatible with an original script for the interactive communication is detected for the interactive communication, a dynamically updated script different from the script is generated in accordance with a type of the incompatible input.

Abstract: Centralized management of the Internet of Things resolves user difficulties. Connected devices may be associated with an owner's or user's electronic profile. The electronic profile may be represented as a graphical user interface (such as a webpage), thus allowing remote management of the connected devices. The owner or user may thus configure the electronic profile to define what electronic data is shared and with whom.

However, when the wireline broadband connection is unavailable, video confirmation of alarms may be routed into a cellular network for processing. When a software widget is a component of a graphical mashup, the widget is completely defined using a single file. The single file specifies both source data and presentation of the source data. Because the widget is completely defined by the single file, the single file allows faster processing of the widget.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and products help users recall memories and search for content of those memories. When a user cannot recall a memory, the user is prompted with questions to help recall the memory. As the user answers the questions, a virtual recollection of the memory is synthesized from the answers to the questions. When the user is satisfied with the virtual recollection of the memory, a database of content may be searched for the virtual recollection of the memory. Video data, for example, may be retrieved that matches the virtual recollection of the memory. The video data is thus historical data documenting past events.
