  • Patent number: 11919233
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method of additively manufacturing a part including depositing a layer of a powder on a working surface, depositing a binder solution on the layer of the powder at first locations, and depositing a sintering aid solution on the layer of the powder at second locations. The sintering aid solution comprises a sintering aid in a solvent. In various embodiments, the sintering aid enables an increased brown strength as compared to parts containing unbound powder. The method enables binders that provide high green strength to be used at the edges of the part, while also balancing a shortened debind time with an increased brown strength. Embodiments in which binder solution is deposited according to a predetermined pattern at second locations are also described.

  • Patent number: 11918390
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for medical imaging systems. In one embodiment, a method for a medical imaging system comprises acquiring emission data during a positron emission tomography (PET) scan of a patient, reconstructing a series of live PET images while acquiring the emission data, tracking motion of the patient during the acquiring by determining a per-voxel variation for selected voxels in a current live PET image of the series of live PET images, and outputting an indication of patient motion based on the per-voxel variation for the selected voxels in each live PET image. In this way, patient motion during the scan may be identified and compensated for via scan acquisition and/or data processing adjustments, thereby producing a diagnostic PET image with reduced motion artifacts and increased diagnostic quality.

  • Patent number: 11916405
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for wireless power transmission. In accordance with this disclosure, a wireless power transmission apparatus (such as a charging pad) may support positional freedom such that a wireless power receiving apparatus may be charged regardless of positioning or orientation of the wireless power receiving apparatus. Various implementations include the use of multiple primary coils in a wireless power transmission apparatus. The multiple primary coils may be configured in a pattern, size, shape, or arrangement that enhances positional freedom. In some implementations, the placement of the multiple primary coils may optimize the size and distribution of electromagnetic fields that are available to charge a wireless power receiving apparatus.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for monitoring and diagnosing power system assets. An example method may include triggering, by a gateway device and at a first time, a capture of a first waveform from a first intelligent electronic device (IED) associated with a first asset in a power system. The method may also include transmitting, by the gateway device, the capture of the waveform to a remote device. The method may also include extracting fault features from the first waveform corresponding to different failure modes associated with the asset of the power system. The method may also include determining, based on the features extracted from first waveform, that a fault of a first fault mode has occurred in the asset. The method may also include providing an alert that the fault has been identified, wherein the alert initiates or otherwise facilitates a control action in the power system.

Abstract: A status indicator for a capacitor may include first and second indicator plates, each respectively defining a first face and a second face visually distinct from the first face. The first face of each of the first and second indicator plates is displayed during nominal operation of the capacitor. The second face of only one of the first and second indicator plates is displayed in response to a partial failure of the capacitor. The second face of each of the first and second indicator plates is displayed in response to a complete failure of the capacitor. A system may include a capacitor, and the status indicator coupled to the capacitor. A method for visually indicating a status of a capacitor may include controlling, by a controller, first and second indicator plates to display selected faces indicating nominal operation, partial failure, or complete failure of the capacitor.

  • Patent number: 11908174
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for automatically classifying a plurality of image slices using body region bounding boxes identified from a localizer image. In one embodiment, a localizer image may be mapped to a plurality of bounding boxes, corresponding to a plurality of body regions, using a trained machine learning model. Coordinates of the plurality of bounding boxes may be used to determine body region boundaries, such that the body regions are non-intersecting and coherent. The body regions identified in the localizer image may then be correlated to image slice ranges, and image slices within each image slice range may be labeled as belonging to the corresponding body region.
