Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of crimping a prosthetic heart valve using a compact crimping mechanism. The crimping mechanism includes a plurality of jaws configured for coordinated inward movement toward a crimping axis to reduce the size of a crimping iris around a stented valve. A rotating cam wheel acts on the jaws and displaces them inward. An actuation mechanism includes a lead screw, carriage assembly and a linkage to rotate the cam wheel with significant torque.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a wafer includes a first and a second resin-application grinding step, and a third surface-grinding step. The first step includes: a first formation step of forming a first coating layer; a first surface-grinding step of placing the wafer so that the first coating layer contacts a reference surface of a table and surface-grinding a first surface of the wafer; and a first removal step of removing the first coating layer. The second step includes: a second formation step of forming a second coating layer; a second surface-grinding step of placing the wafer so that the second coating layer contacts the reference surface and surface-grinding the second surface; and a second removal step of removing the second coating layer. In the third step, the wafer is placed so that the last surface-ground surface contacts the reference surface and a surface opposite the contacted surface is surface-ground.

Abstract: A toothbrush configured to dispense toothpaste and dental floss, the toothbrush having a handle, a head, and a chamber defined by the handle and the head into which toothpaste can be inserted directly or in a tube. The head of the toothbrush defines a hole and the handle is configured to dispense the toothpaste through the hole and onto bristles on the head of the toothbrush. A cap can be provided to cover the bristles. The cap can also include a spike that is used to puncture a hole in a tube of toothpaste or to plug the hole when not in use.

Abstract: A paintbrush guard a hollow body sized to fit over a felt of a paintbrush, a pair of opposing side shields and end shields extending from the body, the side shields having a plurality of interlocking tabs which can be used to lock the shields in an open bell shaped position or a closed position for cutting in a painted surface. The paintbrush guard may also be equipped with a downward facing hook extending from an end shield to hold the guard and paintbrush on the side of a paint container. Further the paintbrush guard maybe equipped with a comb on the side of the guard for use in cleaning a paintbrush.

Abstract: A torque wrench including a head, a handle, a primary beam, a secondary beam, and a torque adjustment mechanism. The primary beam couples the head and the handle for co-rotation about the rotational axis and the primary beam includes a first end adjacent the head and a second end adjacent the handle. The secondary beam is coupled to the head for rotation with the head about the rotational axis and the secondary beam is movable relative to the primary beam and the handle. The torque adjustment mechanism adjusts a torque setting of the primary beam relative to the secondary beam. The torque adjustment mechanism includes a thumb adjustment wheel that a user rotates about a first axis to adjust the torque setting by moving the second end of the primary beam relative to the handle along a second axis offset from the first axis.

Abstract: In certain example embodiments, a vehicle coil clamping kit is provided. A device includes a plate, and tubing and a hoisting mechanism are located on opposing sides thereof. A cable connects to the hoisting mechanism and runs through the tubing. The cable moves responsive to the hoisting mechanism. A support connects to the device and a frame of a vehicle that a coil is to be installed into or removed from. A hook connects to the cable. The tubing is insertable into, and the cable is feedable through, the frame, when the device is connected to the frame via the support. The hook is configured to controllably raise the lower portion of the frame and deform the spring when the spring is being installed, and to permit the lower portion of the frame to be controllably lowered and release tension on the spring when the spring is being removed.

Abstract: A mop bucket includes a mop body with first and second compartments. The first compartment includes a sump region that is sized for receiving a portion of a floor care tool to best utilize the floor care tool and the contents of the mop bucket. A wringer assembly is attached to the mop bucket for cleaning the floor care tool and separating used cleaning supplies from unused. The mop bucket can include an insert for receiving the used cleaning supply to more easily dispose of the same. Tool hooks and floor sign attachments can also be included with the mop bucket such that the bucket provides all tools for use thereof.

Abstract: A tool is disclosed having an integral safety hanger. The tool has a handle including a gripping portion and a neck portion, and a channel within the handle which passes completely through the handle. A hanger assembly is provided which is mounted at a first end thereof within the channel and which includes one or more arm elements adapted to move between a position completely within the channel to positions on either a first side of the handle outside of the channel and/or a second side of the handle outside of the channel, the one or more arm elements are adapted to securely hold the tool on a lip of a container when the one or more arm elements are moved to the first position and/or to the second position.

Abstract: An aspect of some embodiments of the current invention relates to a positioner for holding one or more fasteners (e.g. screws and/or nails) which allows a user to push the fasteners out directly into a target material. For example, a user may locate the positioner over a location on the target material and/or drive the fastener through the positioner into the target. In some embodiments, the positioner includes multiple fasteners, for example the positioner may be used as a magazine of fasteners and/or a storage box for fasteners. Optionally, the positioner includes a hard frame and/or a soft passage holding the fastener. For example, a fastener is inserted into the top of the passage and driven (e.g. pushed, hammered and/or screwed) through, out the bottom of the passage into the target. Optionally, multiple positioners may be arranged along a guide.

Abstract: An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a floor cleaning head and an upright section moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head. The upright section has a filtration member housing and a suction motor housing. The filtration member housing has a filtration member, an air inlet, an air outlet, an openable top wall and an openable bottom wall and the suction motor housing has a suction motor and an open top. A pre-motor filter is removably receivable in the open top of the suction motor housing. The filtration member housing is removably positionable on the suction motor housing and the filtration member housing seals the open top of the suction motor housing when the filtration member housing is positioned on the suction motor housing whereby the pre-motor filter is revealed when the filtration member hosing is removed. When the filtration member housing is positioned on the suction motor housing, the air outlet of the filtration member housing faces an upstream surface of the pre-motor filter.

Abstract: Improvements in a cleaning brush is disclosed. The cleaning tool has both a larger and smaller cleaning feature a single size cleaning tool to try and cover all uses is obviated. With a larger cleaning head, the larger cleaning head can be optimized for the rim surfaces of a toilet. The inner detailing head retracts into the outer cleaning tool. In the retracted mode the detailing head operates with the larger outer tool and provides a cohesive flat surface for cleaning. A spring can be used to retract the detailing head. The detailing head extends from the center, side or corner of the cleaning tool and extends far enough to allow for full use of the detailing head to effectively reach corners and/or cervices. The handle and or the head can be angled to provide an optimum angle for use.
