Abstract: A management device includes: an application manager that manages a set of application-related information related to target applications subject to management. A first information acquisitor acquires a first information transmitted from a terminal in response to that any target application included in the target applications executed by the terminal. A first information notifier transmits, to the terminal, a second information upon receipt of a request based on a first target application executed by the terminal. A second information indicates at least one target application for which the first information has not been acquired from the terminal by the first information acquisitor. A reward processor performs a reward-granting process, based on that a second target application, included in the at least one target application which is indicated by the second information transmitted by the first information notifier, has been executed by the terminal or has become executable by the terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the method and the system for initializing secure network access for POS terminals. Said system comprises a terminal backend system and a POS terminal. The POS terminal is provided with: a security module, which was preloaded with a terminal default public key certificate, a private key file, and a CA public key certificate of the terminal backend system in the setting of leaving the factory; a transaction module, which is used for performing the acquiring operation with the following core trading module; and a parameter initializing module, which is used for implementing network access.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for notifying providers associated with virtual wallets that the virtual wallets are default virtual wallets for consumers and/or communication devices. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a wallet platform, a request, from a wallet provider associated with a virtual wallet, for confirmation that the virtual wallet is a default virtual wallet at a communication device, determining, by the wallet platform, whether the virtual wallet is the default virtual wallet at the communication device, and providing, by the wallet platform, a notification to the wallet provider. In connection therewith, the notification indicates whether or not the virtual wallet is the default virtual wallet at the communication device, thereby permitting the wallet provider to incentivize a consumer associated with the communication device to select the virtual wallet as the default virtual wallet when the virtual wallet is not the default virtual wallet.

Abstract: A system and method for selecting advertisements is disclosed. In example embodiments, a method includes submitting an offer to display an advertisement at a remote device, receiving one or more advertising bids, each bid indicating an advertisement and comprising bid amount, selecting a bid from the one or more advertising bids that results in a highest product, the highest product calculated by multiplying an estimated conversion rate for the advertisement indicated by the bid with the bid amount of the bid, and transmitting the advertisement indicated by the bid to the remote device for display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for associating a plurality of Internet-enabled devices with a common user profile for targeting Internet content or advertising. One method includes: receiving, from a plurality of Internet-enabled devices, a plurality of requests for electronic content or advertising; extracting, from each of the plurality of requests, a source IP address and a unique identifier associated with the respective Internet-enabled device; for each source IP address for which requests were received over a predetermined time period from a number of Internet-enabled devices below a threshold number of devices, identifying each possible pair of devices from which requests were received; and for each possible pair of devices, calculating a probability that the pair of devices are owned or operated by a common user.

Abstract: Auto-detecting an electronic shopping basket and auto-completing offer redemption codes on the shopping basket webpage. When the user selects an item to add to the shopping basket, the shopping basket webpage loads. A plug-in detects a load event and communicates that information to an offer system. The offer system reviews the information, identifies the merchant, and determines offer codes applicable to a purchase. The offer system communicates the offer code to the plug-in, which auto-completes the code on the electronic shopping basket. The user completes the online transaction and the merchant provides a notification of completed transaction webpage. The plug-in detects a load event for the completed transaction webpage and communicates information regarding the load event to the offer system. The offer system reviews the information, identifies the offer code previously transmitted for auto-completion, marks the offer code as redeemed, and calculates the redemption rate of the transmitted offer code.

Abstract: A campaign server is disclosed which includes a multi-level queue architecture that isolates campaign processing from the delays and inconsistencies of target population information retrieval and a data streaming service system with latency and error remediation measures are disclosed, where the campaign server and the data consumption system can be part of a consolidated system. The data consumption system may include various components to process one or more offers to one or more customers and component configured to detect an error associated the preparation of the errors and/or ii) initiate a retry attempt to process the one or more offers, and/or storing an instruction in a storage component of the streaming data system to permanently prohibit an attempt to generate the one or more offers at a subsequent time if the retry attempt expires without processing the one or more offers.

Header bidding partners associated with an ad slot entry are received, each partner associated with a parameter. The partners, parameters, ad slot entries, ad identifiers, and ad sizes are recorded as a configuration associated with the web content. A script associated with the configuration, further associated with a page of the web content including an ad slot associated with the ad slot entry is generated. The configuration is sent to a client device that invokes the script by loading the first page, and an ad from a partner is displayed in an ad impression of the ad slot on the client device based on a response to a notice sent to at least two partners.

Abstract: A system and method for digital space estate management and content distribution is described. This system and method is comprised of an allotted number of time slots of fixed or variable duration, which are analyzed as digital space estates and devoted to content distribution. This system is configured to provide a web service portal which allows users to view available digital space estates, and either purchase them for a fixed price or variable price by proposing a higher acquisition offer amount than potential other users who have submitted offers on the same digital space estate. The system is further configured to utilize attributes of time slots and digital display nodes to recommend time slots to users. The system is configured to allow users to resell acquired digital space estates to other users.

Abstract: A tool for generating and publishing vehicle offers by matching up manufacturer incentive data and vehicle data received from a third party data source with inventory data received from a dealership data source is disclosed. The disclosed tool allows a user to match incentive and vehicle data to specific vehicles currently in a dealership's inventory and to generate custom offers for those specific vehicles that uniquely identify the specific vehicles from dealership's inventory.

The device may provide, to a merchant device, authorization information enabling access to an indication of an incentive status associated with the user and the transaction account, wherein the incentive status indicates whether an incentive is available for the user. A customer associated with a customer device holds a rewards account with a provider associated with a provider computing system. The provider computing system receives rewards and payment card activity of the customer, analyzes the rewards and payment card activity, and generates a rewards engagement rating, which the provider uses to generate and transmit tailored rewards engagement messages to the customer device. The messages provide rewards earn and burn opportunities in which the customer can select to participate.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a customized user experience is presented. A system can include one or more processing modules and one more non-transitory storage modules. The usage history of a user can be tracked at an eCommerce retailer. Static information about the user can also be tracked. Thereafter, using the usage history, the static information, and the available promotions of the retailer, a probability of conversion can be calculated for each promotion. Thereafter, the promotion being displayed to the user can be based on the probability of conversion. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.

A purchase intent from the computing device while at the physical location may be identified. An affiliate associated with the physical location may be rewarded for the purchase intent.

Abstract: A method of improving a network-based marketplace system with referral-service functionality is disclosed. One or more notifications are received from a client device of a first user of a plurality of users. The one or more notifications include an authorization from the first user to make a payment to complete a purchase of an item included in a listing posted on the network-based publication system. The one or more notifications also include a referral code associated with the authorization. The payment is received from the first user into a holding account. Based on the referral code, a second user of the plurality of users is identified as a referrer of the purchase. The payment is divided into a plurality of payments to be made to a seller of the item as a purchase fee and to be made to the referrer of the purchase as a referral fee.

Abstract: Payment systems allowing credit and/or points to fund financial transactions are provided. In one example, a payment system comprises a credit device issued to a consumer enabling the consumer to purchase products or services from a plurality of merchants using funds from a credit account associated with the consumer. The payment system comprises a payment network enabling the plurality of merchants to receive payment from an issuer that issues the credit device to the consumer. A funding device is configured to access information regarding credit available from the credit account, the funding device further configured to access information regarding points available to the consumer. The funding device is configured to use pre-established rules to determine the use of available credit and available points for completing a transaction with a first merchant of the plurality of merchants. The transaction appears to the first merchant as a regular credit card transaction.
