  • Patent number: 9310005
Abstract: The clamping device has a clamping element (9) which can be moved from a starting position into a clamping position. The clamping element (9) is located in a housing (6) and bounds a pressure space in which a pressure medium is accommodated. By actuation of a trigger element (52), the pressure medium acts on the clamping element (9), which as a result is moved out of the starting position and into the clamping position. No tool is required to trigger the clamping element (9), and so the clamping device (9) can be handled easily and without problems. The trigger element (52) is a constituent part of the clamping device (9) and is available whenever the clamping operation is intended to be initiated.

  • Patent number: 9289050
Abstract: Provided is a fastener, which has advantages over the prior art in that a retaining force is not dependent upon the biasing force of a spring, the fastener hardly comes out, and is less restricted in size than the prior art. The fastener has another important advantage over the prior art in that it forms no hole in plain cloth. A fitting portion (2) and a base portion (3) are assembled to have a clamping unit (1) opened. A stopper (4) is pushed together with the plain cloth into the inside of the clamping unit (1). This clamping unit (1) is closed to hold the plain cloth between the outer circumference of the stopper (4) and the leading ends of holding means (26 and 36). With slide portions (22) being fully fitted in groove portions (32), retaining pawls (23) are fitted in pawl receivers (33b).

  • Patent number: 9289037
Abstract: Hardened cobalt alloys for forming jewelry, including finger rings as well as methods and processes for producing such alloys. In one illustrative embodiment, such an alloy can contain cobalt in an amount of from about 35 wt % to about 65 wt %, in combination with chromium in an amount of from about 16% wt to about 32 wt %, and molybdenum in an amount of from about 8 wt % to about 31 wt %. Aluminum, silicon, boron, titanium, and other hardness enhancing materials may also be present. Hot investment casting may be used to form items from the alloys, which may then be shaped or polished to a final form. Annular finger rings constructed from these materials may have a white appearance similar to white gold or platinum, may have increased resistance to scratching compared to traditional cobalt chromium rings, and may be easily be removed by cracking in an emergency situation.

  • Patent number: 9271549
Abstract: A bracelet includes a plurality of links assembled in an articulated manner using pins. Each pin passes through interlocking parts of links in which a cylindrical passage is arranged where a pin can slide relatively freely. In order to ensure the position of the pin once the links have been assembled, a locking element is arranged in a cavity made in one of the links so as to partially intersect the passage in which the pin is arranged. This pin includes a groove, which is penetrated by an external part of the locking element when the element is in the closed position. Pressing on the locking element, then rotating it by an angle of 90°, releases the external part of the pin groove so that the pin is then released.

  • Patent number: 9267535
Abstract: A snap ring having an easily replaceable support reliably supports a purse line and overcome frictional force between the purse line and the snap ring even without having a side roller requiring a complex structure on an end of a main roller. In the snap ring, in lieu of a side roller having a complex structure, the support having a simple structure is provided in at least one of the first and second side parts of a frame such that the support and the main roller can reliably support a purse line and overcome frictional force between the snap ring and the purse line. Furthermore, each of the support and the main roller is configured so as to be separately replaceable with a new one. Thus, even if the support or main roller becomes worn, it can be easily replaced with a new one.
