A request may be received, from a user on a device having a user interface, to search for an item listed for sale in a marketplace. A balance amount of an account associated with or available to the user at the marketplace is displayed in the user interface. The search results are limited to at least one item having a sales price less than the displayed balance amount and the at least one item is displayed in the user interface. The account may be a user account at a payment service provider.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving media content for interactive product display systems used with different products in different retail establishments. Product interaction data characterizing consumer gestures performed in connection with the different products in the different retail establishments is collected. The media content and product interaction data is analyzed to form marketing data. The display of media content at an interactive product display system of a retail establishment is remotely initiated.

Abstract: Transaction data of a first party and transaction data of a population are both analyzed to determine weighting and normalizing factors, which when applied to data operate to prioritize and personalize the data. The prioritization of the data is based on the analysis and results in use of the data in accordance with user preferences as evidenced in prior activities of the first party represented by the transaction data. In a navigation system, applying data prioritizations speeds performance of the system and eliminates duplicate or follow-on searches, and allows efficient selection of potential routes and destinations.

In turn, the cloud computing environment may generate information for use in the cloud computing environment and/or to provide the generated information to the devices to guide a genomic analysis workflow. A server system receives a request for details regarding a product that a user of a remote computing device selected for purchase from a user interface provided by a third-party application program executable at the remote computing device. The received request specifies the product. The server system uses an indication of the product to identify details that are specific to the product. The server system sends, for receipt by the particular application program, the details. The server system receives, from the particular application program and after sending the details, confirmation to purchase the product, and, in response, sends a charge request to charge the user for the product to a transaction processing system.

Abstract: Queries against search engines like the Google Search Appliance, Elastic Search and other readily available search engines to provide meaningful content for the purpose of supporting eCommerce websites. In particular, methods that provide for an intelligent abstraction to know when and how to generate a set of queries, the set of queries including one or more queries that are relevant to the searchable content are disclosed. In addition, the methods also can determine if a query against the search engine is even required and may redirect the use to other dynamic or static content outside the search index utilized by the search engine to satisfy the queries.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for extracting quotes for an item from customer reviews. Individual sentences or phrases contained in customer reviews regarding an item or category of items are parsed into a collection of sentences. A list of topics is generated from the collection of sentences, and each sentence or phrases is assigned a topic from the list of topics. The most relevant topics from the list of topics are identified for a particular item, and one or more sentences or phrases from customer reviews for the particular item are selected for each of the most relevant topics that best represent the sentences associated with the item and assigned to that topic, according to content and sentiment.
