  • Patent number: 10205766
Abstract: A computer system for scheduling downloads based on metadata in a client-server topology. A server receives from a client application a request for scheduling a download of a file, wherein the request for scheduling the download of the file comprises a requirement of a time period for downloading the file. The server fetches information from one or more metadata sources. The server determines an optimal time for downloading the file, based on the requirement of the time period and information from one or more metadata sources. The server sends a response with the optimal time and information for downloading the file. The server receives from the client a request for downloading the file at the optimal time. The server serves, at the optimal time, the file to the client application.

  • Patent number: 10148705
Abstract: A request to establish a bi-directional full-duplex network connection is received. The request conforms to a half-duplex network connection protocol and the half-duplex connection protocol is a HTTP based protocol. The request is processed to determine a decision on whether to allow the bi-directional full-duplex connection. In the event the decision is to allow the bi-directional full-duplex connection, the bi-directional full-duplex network connection is established using the half-duplex network connection protocol. The bi-directional full-duplex connection utilizes a WebSocket communication protocol. Establishing the bi-directional full-duplex connection utilizes a plurality of half duplex connections. A confirmation that the bi-directional full-duplex network connection has been established is provided.

  • Patent number: 10122571
Abstract: A network management system is provided in which a processing device coupled to a network performs operations to identify an interface accordance with a rule and associate the identified interface with a category in accordance with the rule. The interface is coupled between a managed device and the network. The rule is based on a name associated with the interface, wherein the name indicates semantic information about data transmitted via the interface. Upon detection of transmission of data via the interface, the processor further performs operations to determine an action associated with the category and apply the action to the data.

  • Patent number: 10116609
Abstract: Technologies are described related to third party email signature generation and authentication. A DKIM signature may be stamped in a way such that the “From” address is encoded in the selector. The domain may be extracted from the DKIM signature based upon being from a known sender in the d=field, which signs on behalf of another domain. The reconstructed domain may be aligned from the selector against the actual domain in the “From” address to pass DMARC.

  • Patent number: 10097633
Abstract: A method and apparatus for automated mirroring is presented. A network device running as a Fabric Attach (FA) server configured to mirror traffic to a Remote Switch Port Analyzer (RSPAN) Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), issues an FA Type Length Value (TLV) on its uplink to the FA server. The TLV includes a request to associate said RSPAN VLAN with a Service Identifier (I-SID) used to carry mirror traffic in a network. The network device sends the mirrored traffic on the RSPAN VLAN on its uplink to the FA server. The network device signals the I-SID into the network, and detects receive interest in the I-SID. The network device delivers the mirrored traffic to devices that expressed a receive interest in the mirrored traffic.

  • Patent number: 10057741
Abstract: A contextual deep linking server receives a request associated with a valid contextual deep link from a client device, the contextual deep link associated with link data indicating a particular configuration of an application. The server also receives, after determining that the client device has stored a previously generated fingerprint, stored contextual information for the client device identified by a locally stored fingerprint that matches the previously generated fingerprint. The server then generates, after determining that the client device does not have the previously generated fingerprint, a unique fingerprint of the client device based on a plurality of characteristics of the client device and determining contextual information of the request based on a characteristic of the client device. The server also transmits a response to the client device that is selected based on the contextual information of the client device such that the response is operable on the client device.
