Abstract: A process for forming an optical sound track which comprises applying a nitrogen containing heterocyclic compound in which at least one of the nitrogen atoms is connected to a group having 6 or more carbon atoms to form a quaternary salt to a sound track area of a multilayer color photographic material, after color development but prior to a bleaching step, whereby an optical sound track can be easily prepared on a conventional multilayer color photographic material.
Abstract: Color film of the silver halide emulsion type is developed by a process which includes a bleach-fixing bath treatment to remove the silver image, followed by an oxidizing bath to restore to the dyes the color which they lost in the bleach-fixing bath. This oxidizing bath must contain an iron-III-complex of an amino polyacetic acid as the oxidizing agent, e.g. the sodium-salt of the iron-III-complex of ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid.
Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having coated thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta dye-forming coupler, at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan dye-forming coupler, and at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a compound having a thioether bond directly connected to a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring.
Abstract: An improved dry process for the finishing of organic material, particularly textile material made from natural or synthetic organic fibres ist described, which comprises applying to an inert carrier preparations containing at least one textile finishing agent transferring at atmospheric pressure above 80.degree.C to the organic material, optionally a bonding agent stable below 250.degree.C, water and/or an organic solvent; drying of the said preparation; bringing into contact then of the treated side of the inert carrier with the surface of the organic material to be finished; subjecting thereupon of carrier and the material to be finished, optionally under mechanical pressure, to a heat treatment at a temperature of at least 80.degree.C until the said textile finishing agent has transferred to the material to be finished, and separating of the finished material from the carrier.

Abstract: A thermodevelopable photographic material comprising a support and a layer composed of (a) a high silver ion conducting substance having an ion conductivity at 25.degree.C of at least 1 .times. 10.sup.-.sup.3 (.OMEGA.cm).sup.-.sup.1, such as silver iodide tungstate, or a mixture of the high silver ion conducting substance with silver, and (b) a weak reducing agent. In order to increase the sensitivity of the material, a photosensitive silver halide can further be incorporated in the layer. The photographic material is exposed imagewise, and then heated for a short time to form a permanent visible image of clear contrast.
Abstract: A multi-layer photosensitive material for color photography comprising a support and coated thereon, a first color image-forming layer unit composed of a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion, a second color image-forming layer unit composed of a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion and a third color image-forming layer unit composed of a blur-sensitive silver halide emulsion; characterized in that at least one of said color image-forming layer units has a composite layer structure including a lower layer and an upper layer which are positioned in sequence from the support, said upper layer has a higher sensitivity and a lower maximum developed color density than said lower layer, and at least one of said upper layer and lower layer contains a mercaptan type development inhibitor-releasing compound capable of reacting with an oxidation product of a primary aromatic amine to form a substantially colorless compound.
Abstract: An incorporated-coupler type multi-layer color photographic sensitive material comprising a support and at least two photosensitive emulsion layers thereon which form images having a different color from each other on color development, wherein at least one of the photosensitive emulsion layers comprises two or more unit layers, with at least one of the unit layers containing a hydroquinone derivative. Interlayer color correction is obtained in the color photographic sensitive material.
