Abstract: A single-dose package for transdermal therapeutic systems or film-shaped administration forms, in the form of a tear-open sealed-edge pouch with a completely surrounding and continuous non-peelable sealing surface. The single-dose packages are provided with two packaging material elements, which are arranged one lying on top of the other and form the upper side and underside of a pouch that contains the product. At least one packaging material element is a tear-resistant film laminate with an at least three-layer structure, wherein at least one layer of the packaging material elements is a metal layer. Abstract: A container having enhanced wall integrity and a rotational element is provided that includes a sidewall having polygonal cross-sectional shape and an alignment structure formed therein. The alignment structure is adapted for orienting the container with respect to a second container such that the panel sections of the containers become parallel with one another and the containers may be fully nested one within the other. The alignment structure can be recessed into the sidewall to form peaks and valleys along an inner surface of the container. The peaks include first and second faces sloping in opposite directions designed to direct corners of the first container's sidewall toward the interior valleys of the second container in order to orient the containers as they are stacked.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a hot-fill container for use with a hot-filling process. The container includes vacuum absorption sections that resist partial collapse and uncontrolled deformation of the container's walls during the hot-filling process. The vacuum absorption sections are asymmetrically-formed and include respective edge portions and panel portions configured to deform and pivot about a linear part of the edge portions when a vacuum is created inside the container. The edge portions have a curvilinear part that is adapted to comfortably receive and engage a user's fingers during use of the container, making the container more user friendly. The vacuum absorption sections are arranged about the container's central longitudinal axis such that their respective panel portions substantially form the sides of a polygon when viewed in top plan view. The polygon appears to be inscribed within an otherwise circular container periphery.

Abstract: A knitting needle storage/display device includes a display flap, and a main flap, which is foldable at first and second fold regions, to form a first end flap portion, a middle flap portion, and a second end flap portion. A strap, being intermittently secured to the display flap, releasably supports a knitting needle between adjacent pairs of intermittently secured locations. The display flap, being secured to the main flap, can be folded between its first and second ends into a display position, and be releasably secured thereat using hook and loop fastening materials. The folded display flap in the display position exposes the ends of the needles. Snap members releasably secure the first and the second end flap portions together, when respectively folded at the first and second fold regions, in either a closed position, or an open position while the display flap is in the display position.

Abstract: An expandable bowl has an open top and a plurality of configuration changing side members connecting the open top to a base member. The configuration changing side members are designed to allow a user to pull the base member to changing the side members from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration, thereby increasing the overall volume of the bowl. The expandable bowl may be useful for various products, such as pre-packaged salads, where the salads may be packaged and displayed in the collapsed configuration, thereby minimizing shelf space, and may be changed to the expanded configuration by a user to permit tossing of the salad without risking spillage of the contents of the bowl.

A closure may include at least a polymer orifice reducer configured to be permanently secured to a rim of an opening of a container and a flexible tamper evident seal disposed on the topside of the orifice reducer. The flexible tamper evident seal, optionally foil, covers one or more openings in the orifice reducer. Processes for permanently securing a closure to a container, optionally by forming a heat seal between the orifice reducer and container rim, are also disclosed.
