Abstract: In a delivery service, a picker retrieves items specified in an order by a customer. If a picker encounters an issue with an item in the order, the picker may select, via a user interface, the item and an associated template message, which requests input from the customer regarding a course of action for the item, to send to the customer. The customer may select, via another user interface, a template message describing a course of action for the item. In response to receiving one of a subset of template messages, the online concierge system displays via the user interface, a set of replacement options to the customer, who may select one of the replacement options to be sent to the picker with the template message.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of graphical user interface element adjustment may include presenting a graphical user interface element that includes an adjustable element that is configured to be moved to adjust a selection of a value between a first end value and a second end value. In response to a movement of the adjustable element to adjust the selection of the value, the computer-implemented method further include obtaining a time for the movement of the adjustable element and selecting the first end value to adjust based on the time. The computer-implemented method may further include determining an updated end value based on the first end value and the time and presenting the updated end value in the graphical user interface element in place of the first end value.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing access to contents which are semantically related to a displayed content(s). The access can be provided through a multi-dimensional user interface (UI). The method includes detecting a predefined gesture with respect to a first content. Based on the detected gesture, determining closest semantically linked content (second content). The semantic link between the first content and the second content can be established based on parameters such as sharing history, frequency of usage, type, a location, similarity, hierarchy, key words/phrases, tags, and so on. The semantically linked contents can be assigned onto distinct dimensions of the multi-dimensional UI space. The multi-dimensional UI space can be traversed through different dimensions using the predefined gesture, and each traversal from one dimension to another can be semantically linked.

Abstract: A messaging system, which hosts a backend service for an associated messaging client, includes a context surfacing system that provides context surfacing functionality in collections. The context surfacing system is configured to surface information representing a context object associated with a collection as a context string in a cell that represents the collection in a collections user interface. A cell that represents the collection in a collections user interface is actionable to cause presentation of the set of media content items in the collection on a display device of the viewer.

Abstract: Techniques for rendering shared data include receiving, from a data store by a computing device, data indicative of a persistent data object. The persistent data object is associated with a class indicative of a data type for information contained in the persistent data object. The persistent data object is operable to be inserted in a file generated by an application executing on the computing device. The visualization logic associated with the class may be received by the computing device. The information in the persistent data object is rendered using the selected method of visualization, and other information in the document is rendered using native rendering capabilities of the application.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and apparatus for controlling a synchronous output of a digital matrix, and an electronic device, which relates to the field of multi-media technology and can control the synchronous outputs of output units. The method includes: when output units are activated or an individual output unit in the output units is re-activated after an abnormality occurs in this individual output unit, calibrating output start times and output periods of the output units such that the output start times of the output units are identical and the output periods of the output units are identical; receiving, by the output units, to-be-processed data based on the identical output start times; and after the to-be-processed data is received, controlling the output units to complete processing of the received to-be-processed data within a current output period, such that the output units output the processed data synchronously in a next output period.

Abstract: Automatically detected and identified tasks and calendar items from electronic communications may be populated into one or more tasks applications and calendaring applications. Text content retrieved from one or more electronic communications may be extracted and parsed for determining whether keywords or terms contained in the parsed text may lead to a classification of the text content or part of the text content as a task. Identified tasks may be automatically populated into a tasks application. Similarly, text content from such sources may be parsed for keywords and terms that may be identified as indicating calendar items, for example, meeting requests. Identified calendar items may be automatically populated into a calendar application as a calendar entry.

Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to asynchronously collaborate on a model of an infrastructure project. The model is acquired and view settings for the model are captured. The view settings include a feature highlight that provides display attributes/settings for objects and/or features of the model, a camera position providing second settings relating to a camera view of the model, and a data view providing third settings regarding a view of the model data. The view settings are associated with a link. The link is transmitted/provided from a sender to a recipient. The link enables rehydration of a live model based on the captured view settings thereby presenting a state and view settings of the model specified by the sender.

Abstract: In response to a user identity request, a system can receive user identity data associated with the user identity from a first mobile device. Based on the user identity data, the system can allocate an interface template to the user identity, wherein the interface template comprises scorecard data, from a second mobile device, associated with a scoring parameter related to an input field of the interface template. Furthermore, the system can prompt an input, via the first mobile device, to the input field of the interface template. Additionally in response to receiving input data associated with the input, the system can compare the input data to the scoring parameter.

Abstract: A tool for providing context-based copy and paste commands. The tool monitors a plurality of user activities across one or more user devices for a plurality of copied content items and associated contextual data. The tool generates a list of the plurality of copied content items and the associated contextual data. Responsive to a determination that a user issued a paste command, the tool calculates a relevancy score for each of the plurality of copied content items in the list. The tool determines at least one of the plurality of copied content items to fulfill the paste command based, at least in part, on the relevancy score for each of the plurality of copied content items. The tool presents the at least one of the plurality of copied content items to a user to select for the paste command.

Abstract: An information system using active context technology allows a user to view and interact with a large amount of data disposed within multiple objects with relative ease, minimal time, and minimal interaction. An active context object allows an active context window to display labels, identifiers, and links for objects that are actively (e.g. presently) contextually associated with each other. Contextual association of objects can be determined by a user, inferred by the nature of each object, or automatically determined by an information system. In another embodiment, an active context window is persistently displayed to a user to allow the user to easily obtain information about contextually associated objects and easily allow the user to navigate among contextually associated objects. In one embodiment, the active context object can be transmitted to other users to allow each user to access contextually related objects and, thus, contextually related information.

Abstract: A notification builder implemented through a graphical user interface (“GUI”) provides a platform for building notifications and defining priorities for how the notifications will be presented to users of managed devices. Elements included in the notification builder and selectable as part of a build process can provide options for naming a notification, providing content for the notification, defining recipients, setting a respective priority, and creating action buttons. An action button can allow a user that has received a notification built with the notification builder to interact with the notification in a predetermined manner. The GUI can also provide data relating to the notification, such as success/failure, read/unread, etc.
