Abstract: A ball pen ink of transiently erasable type to be dispensed from a pressurized ball pen incorporates an elastommeric polymer, pigment and a mixed solvent system. The mixed solvent system includes a volatile solvent component, a non-volatile solvent component and a non-volatile solvent/plasticizer component in such relative amounts and with relation to the elastomer and pigment combination as achieves a balance between ink viscosity and thixotropy to provide good writing qualities.
Abstract: An asphaltic composition having improved temperature susceptibility and a method of manufacturing the improved asphaltic composition are disclosed. The improvement is directed at the addition of a stabilizing agent selected from the group consisting of Group IA sulfates, Group IIB sulfates and mixtures thereof.

Abstract: Plastics, finishes and printing inks which contain, as the colorant, one or more compounds of the formula ##STR1## where A is hydrogen or phenyl andB is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, phenyl or carbo-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, the phenyl radicals and the ring C being unsubstituted or substituted by groups which do not confer solubility, andthe four groups A and B may be identical or different from one another. The colorants have a high tinctorial strength and the colorations have good fastness characteristics and high infrared reflectance.
